The Saffron Crocus 10 Bulbs are organic Crocus sativus bulbs that bloom vibrant purple flowers with prized red stigmas—the source of saffron, the world’s most expensive spice. Hardy in USDA zones 5-9, these bulbs are easy to plant and care for, thriving in full sun or partial shade with well-drained soil. Each small bulb (5/6 cm) can multiply into up to 5 large corms over 1-3 years, making it a rewarding investment for spice enthusiasts and home gardeners alike.

Sprouting and growing!
We got these last year and they didn't do anything. Replanted this year and they are sprouting! So excited!

Not one bulb grew
I planted these in my yard as soon as I got them. I am in zone 8 so they should grow. Watered the lawn and garden all summer and not one leaf popped out of the ground. I expected them to take off slowly but this was a total fail.

Received quickly. Am satisfied with the internal paper packaging it was in as well. Instructions were on the back but not so thorough. If you aren't knowledgeable in the saffron crocus you can email them per the instructions but it doesn't have an email address so you'll have to research it if needed. I do look forward to planting and growing these as they do seem to be good bulbs with no signs of defects. I went ahead and pulled the dried parts off to check for rot and bulb looked healthy and was about the size of a garbanzo bean maybe. Will post a follow-up review if they don't produce anything via my green thumb but I think they will.

We'll see ...
Not what I expected, we'll see. Nicely packaged. A couple were very soft and they smelled moldy. But, I'm not saying I wouldn't buy again. Maybe the distance traveled has something to do with the smell. I hope they grow well. Worth the try.

Haven't come up yet.
Well, I received the bulbs and planted them, but the plants have not come up yet. I don't know if it is because it is not time for them to come up. Or if the bulbs were not good. Still waiting.

Nice looking bulbs
Can't plant these until fall, but the bulbs are intact, nice sized, fully dried and I'm excited to grow my own saffron.
