Great product, less waste
I bought a new Hamilton Beach coffee machine, and the inner brew basket is large. The manual said that you could use paper coffee filters or get a reusable mesh filter. I bought this mesh basket to use instead of relying on disposable filters. It works great. I appreciate having an option that produces less waste.

Good quality. Functions as expected. At first I thought it was too small, but it does fir my 12 cup HB coffee maker.

Works Perfectly in the Hamilton Beach 12-Cup Brewstation (Model 48464) Excellent Dark Brew, No Coffee Grounds fall in the Coffee
Originally, I was a bit concerned that this filter basket would be too small for my new 12-cup Brewstation. I expected this mesh filter to have a wider diameter, and a snugger fit, but the dimensions were the exactly same as our other and much older gold tone filter. They were both the same size with the same measurements, and both had the convenient handle, the only difference was our older one has a solid plastic bottom, and this gold tone filter by Hamilton Beach has the mesh sides and along the bottom. I have our coffee maker programmed to make 6 cups of coffee every morning, and the coffee is dark, strong and rich, just the way I like it. We use the Kirkland 100% Columbian – Dark Roast – Fine Grind as our regular brew, and this filter does not leak any of the fine coffee grounds at all. It delivers a good strong color and taste and without any coffee grounds in the bottom of our cup. The filter stays correctly positioned within the center of the basket and it does not move around. In addition, it’s very easy to rinse out and clean, I personally use a nylon-coated sponge. We were very satisfied with this filter basket on a day-to-day performance. However, I felt that I needed to reserve my opinions until I was able to use the filter at the full capacity. The opportunity came over this Thanksgiving holiday, when I needed to make 12 cups of coffee. This filter came through with success, it did NOT overflow, and there was no mess, it delivered 12 cups of dark, strong brew, and without any coffee grounds in our cups. I have submitted two pictures. One shows the deep dark color of the coffee, and the other picture is to show the fit of the filter in our coffee maker. Furthermore, the second picture shows how well this reusable filter holds 12 servings of wet coffee grounds in its basket. This reusable mesh coffee filter has met all of my expectations.

Fits the Hamilton Beach Two Way Brewer Single Serve and 12 cup Coffee Maker
As much as I'd like to say that we purchased this to be ecologically cleaner or to save money on paper filters, that's not the case. Our experience with several coffee pots is that, if we brew less than about four cups, the odds are pretty good that the paper filter will fold, the water will back up and we'll get a pot-full of grounds. So we use this permanent filter in combination with a paper filter. The paper goes in first, followed by the permanent filter, followed by the coffee. It works great and has the added benefit of trapping the fine particles that normally would get through this permanent filter (as other reviews have mentioned). The only downside to this filter, whether used alone or in combination with a paper filter, is that it's kind of a pain to clean. Grounds stick to it and they don't just shake out -- you have to get in there with a brush or your finger or something. And even then, you'll probably have a bunch that go down the drain. As noted in the title of this review, this permanent filter perfectly fits the Hamilton Beach Two Way Brewer Single Serve and 12 cup Coffee Maker. All in all, we're very pleased with this purchase.

Fitz and works and eco-friendly
I go back and forth between the unbleached paper filters... When they run out I use this for a while until I remember to get more. I feel like my coffee does have a bit less flavor when I use this filter. It Fitz the Hamilton Beach Brew station.

Hallelujhia!!!!!!!! IT FITS!!!!!!!! : D
The "Hamilton Beach 80675 Permanent Gold Tone Filter" WORKS VERY NICELY in the "Hamilton Beach 47665 BrewStation Plus 12-Cup Automatic Drip Coffeemaker"!!!!!! : D Please note - & I cannot stress this enough - it ONLY works well in the Hamilton Beach BrewStation ***PLUS*** models. It will be loose in the basket, shift around, & be forever uncentered in the cheaper version of the Hamilton Beach BrewStation the next grade down (models 47224, 47114, 47214, 47221, 47111, & the like) - which has a totally different basket & housing design than the BrewStation Plus models. Oddly enough, one of the NON-Plus BrewStation models IT DOES NOT FIT is actually pictured on the box for this filter & it erroneously states "Fits All BrewStation Coffeemakers" - but it *will NOT fit well at all* in that model, as people have already pointed out in disgust below, & rightly so. I bought a permanent filter locally made by Mr. Coffee, & it fit the basket circumferance wise - but it stood too high to close the lid to the Hamilton Beach BrewStation PLUS. And where I live, it's the only permanent filter sold in town. So I returned it, & I ordered this model instead. And Wha-Laaa!!! The Hamilton Beach Permanent Filter 80675 works just as nice as a paper filter in the BrewStation PLUS. Maybe nicer, as the water seems to drain better. No wild overflows, & no messy coffee coated water distributer left in the wake of the brewing cycle. Just nice coffee. It's too bad Hamilton Beach flubbed & pictured the wrong BrewStation model on the box to go with this filter - instead of one of the BrewStation PLUS models that it actually does fit. I'm not surprised to hear people who have the NON-Plus BrewStations are ticked. This filter, like the Mr. Coffee Permanent Filter, will not stay centered in the basket & will shift around loosely in a NON-Plus regular BrewStation basket by about a half inch. My guess is the water at times would completely miss this basket in these NON-Plus models & flow directly into the coffee tank. And I can see where it may perhaps even overflow in other brands that require a higher standing basket, like the Mr. Coffee Filter. This filter fits the Brewstation PLUS basket circumferance much more closely than it will fit in the regular (& more cheaply made) Hamilton Beach BrewStation. It fits so naturally in my BrewStation PLUS, & it's just become part of the appliance. The only giveaway that it's really an accessory is that it's brown, instead of black like the coffee machine. If you have a Hamilton Beach BrewStation PLUS (& it has to be the PLUS version of the Brewstation, or you will be really unhappy with its performance & your brew) - I recommend giving this filter a shot. I hope my "field work" helps people to avoid buying bad fitting filters, to leave soggy, ripping, spilling, dripping paper filters in the past where they belong, & to finally get their coffee. :) For those curious about the "Hamilton Beach 47665 BrewStation Plus 12-Cup Automatic Drip Coffeemaker" performance, please see my other reviews. Yours truly, "Starbucks Rogers" : D
