The media could not be loaded.  Recently i’ve recieved this nice scan tool crp429. It supports VIN auto scan, WIFI and touch screen. And most importantly, it’s gonna to give full system diagnoses and reset service. I will show you how many functions this nice scan tool can give you in this video.It’s gonna immediately do an Auto VIN scan on the vehicle when I plug it in the vehicle diagnostic port. You can see the VIN # of your car.And then it’s going to scan every single module, so if your car has any fault codes, it will give you a vehicle health report that can be saved. It really does a good job because you can see the scan report immediately or later, or even you can share it and send it to any email (your own or your customer’s) with message when it the scan tool does connect to local Wi-Fi.Going back to the home screen and try another cool thing, its reset functions. There are 8 kinds of reset functions, including break reset, oil change reset, steering angle sensor reset, battery reset, ABS break bleeding, diesel particalute filters , IMMO (really awesome function) and the last one, injector. All of these are really cool functions and everyone is gonna need for especially if you have a lots of customers coming through and you want to get those quick functions in.In the diagnostic report, you can see the stored reports of all vehicles that are stored here.You’re able to look through a DTC library scan through and find any kind of codes that you are wanting to find and it gives you all of the descriptions.Going to the obdii functions, you can read many things, readiness monitors, live data.......There are many other functions, just like one click upgrade, download, screenshots and the new platform gear plus that just like the snap-on sharing community where you can share or get much more diagnosing experiences.Anyway, this is a very powerful and easy-to use scan tool with a whole lots of functions. This is a pretty powerful entry level scan tool. Though it's a bit lacking in bidirectional functions (I wanted capabilities to command EVAP, relearn idle, relearn crank variation, etc), it can pull a lot of data from every module on the vehicle you're scanning. The interface is pretty user friendly, the data stream is fast, and the graphs are detailed. I like the internet connectivity, and the ability to easily share the data reports.I'd say it's well worth the reasonable price.

Purchased this scanner a month ago and it has performed so great by far. Tested it on a 2012 Toyota Camry 2.5 Auto L.PROS:1.) Multifunctional. Full OBD2 Functions helps me deeply diagnose the OBD system, check if each emission-related monitor works OK, and turn off the check engine light; All System Diagnoses allows me to enter all available systems on a vehicle to find out problems; Reset Services including ABS bleeding, oil reset, SAS calibration, DPF regeneration, and… offer me the solutions to reset some systems.2.) Ease of use. Small and hand-held size. Works very fast. I can quickly perform the functions through the touch screen.3.) Software update. To keep pace with the developing car modelsCONS:Actually I don’t figure out why this scanner has both keyboard and touch screen at the same time! Is the keyboard necessary? For me, the bigger touch screen is quite suitable for easy manipulations.THE BOTTOM LINEThis is an easy-to-use and simple diagnostic tool with great portability yet very powerful. I definitely recommend this as your choice if you are looking for a tool with same functions!

I do not like the stupid slot machine noise when it is searching for a VIN...super obnoxious. Other than that I like it though.Update: The machine requires frequent updates which is understandable...however in the last year it has required so many updates that it has run out of storage room. I am unable to update anymore as there is not space for it to update. Furthermore if it doesn't have the most recent update installed it WILL NOT WORK. It will not run codes as it will just pop up that it needs an update, so you try to update but storage is full. I have formatted this thing a few times and started over but run into the same issue over and over and over. Literally more useless than a paperweight (because it is to big to be a paperweight). Huge waste of money and time. Very disappointed.

I'm extremely satisfied with the crp429. Its definitely a lot of tool for the money and is intuitive and easy to use. I dont have internet at my home so I had to take it to a friends home to set it up and upgrade it. However once set up I had no problem scanning two vehicles and discovering all the problems they have. If I have a complaint it's when I went to look up the code in the library. It said code info isnt available. I wish all codes were covered. However a quick internet search was able to provide more vehicle specific information anyway. Very happy with this great tool.

Great diagnostic tool. My Chevrolet Silverado 1500 had the airbag light on due to me fixing ac controls but nothing wrong with ac just light came on. It was $100 at the shop to erase this, was a little more but I work on cars and my old scan tool was a little old so it was the upgrade time. I picked LAUNCH CRP429 for a particular reason that LAUNCH seems to be a great brand in the automotive aftermarket. And its price is attractive within in my budget.The CRP429 offers a variety of diagnostics with ease of operation and fast processing speed from the basic to more advanced details to help DIYers or the mechanic identify the problem. The menu layout on the screen is easy to understand and I had no trouble figuring out how to do what I needed. And the handle feeling is comfortable. Overall this is a great tool for getting those trouble codes dealt with when your error lights come on!

Hasta el momento, muy satisfecho, llegó en tiempo, bien empacado, el producto es original, ya lo actualice en línea, las funciones que marca la publicación, tiene activas y para mí caso es suficiente, leé, borra y puede monitorear la línea de datos en tiempo real. La identificación de vin automático es una gran ayuda, por el precio está excelente, es una gran ayuda en el taller.

I've only come across one vehicle, a 2017 Ford Fusion Hybrid, that the scanner was unable to connect to. All other makes and models the tool was able to scan and reset codes on all systems, reset oil and brake services, retract rear emergency brake pistons, etc. Vehicle brands I've scanned include Sprinter, Audi, Mercedes, BMW, Volvo, Subaru, Honda, Toyota, GM, Ford, Hyundai, Kia, Chrysler/Dodge, Fiat, Mini, Lexus, Acura.Very useful tool if you want something that can scan every module a car has instead of just the base OBD2 or engine codes.

No encuentra el auto en automático, siempre pide el número de serie. No encuentra datos del vehículo.Y ya está actualizado.

I wonder how can such tools does come without manual book, i straggled to work and figure out working with it and for any single thing searching around in computer, also it is not as advertised at Amazon. Sorry to buy that👎

no llego en la fecha programada y el empaque llego roto con pedazo de madera adentro el manual solo viene en ingles y el cupon de regalo no dice como adquirir el producto
