I wore this around Epic Universe as Bowsette. It actually held a lot despite the small size. THE SMALL SIZE IS A MUST HAVE FOR LOCKERS! Don't get the big one. It won't fit in the smaller lockers.

Super small and cheaply made. That’s not necessarily a bad thing because it’s for kids and I wasn’t expecting a luxury item. But it is way overpriced for what it is. I get that it’s from the Mario brand, but it’s only worth about $5.00 in my mind. For the same price I could have gotten an actual children’s backpack with full functionality and durability (just not Mario themed). If it gets one good tug, it’s going to rip to shreds. I would not buy this at its current price.

When I was first considering purchasing this, I was a little worried because I saw so many comments saying that it was too small. As a fully grown adult woman (5’5”), the bag is a perfect size for me, so I guess it just kind of depends on how big you are. It would also be a good size for a child. It seems to be pretty good quality. It came in a vacuum sealed bag so it is kind of compressed and wrinkled, but I’m sure fluffing it up and letting it sit out for a few days can fix some of that I might steam it as well if I need to. The spikes are just pieces of fabric. They don’t have anything in them, but I’ve already thought of several ideas to possibly fix that solution. They stay up decently on their own, but I am probably going to put something inside them and sew them shut again personally. When I was debating between purchasing this or making my own, I figured the overall cost. It would be cheaper to just purchase this one and I’m glad that I did. The storage area on the bag is much larger than I expected to it doesn’t take up space in the shell part but there is more than enough space to fit a phone, a wallet, and possibly a few other things. I honestly think I could even fit a water bottle or two inside of it. I bought this to bring to a convention as Bowsette and I think it is perfect for my needs. The straps are also very adjustable and you can unclip them and swap them if wanted or even fully remove them which is a huge plus. If you’re traveling, this could double as a backpack and a pillow if you wanted it to!
