GEARWRENCH 33" Extendable Indexing Pry Bar - 82220

My boss said that this pry bar is so strong and solid that all others feel light. We used this so many times while doing a clutch. The extending and indexing features are so useful. I bought this because my coworkers (who were more senior mechanics) bought this off the Matco truck. I waited for Black Friday for it to go on sale then purchased it. Knowing what I know now about its many uses, I would’ve paid full price for how useful and sometimes lifesaving it is.

I've been wanting an adjustable pry bar for a while, and when this one came up on sale over Black Friday weekend, I ordered one. The head can be locked at your desired angle with well over 108* of adjustability, and the handle is actually 2 pieces that telescope with each other that have a catch every couple inches so you can adjust both the pry angle as well as the length of the leverage bar. Everything about it screams heavy duty, and so far it has worked flawlessly. To swivel the pry head you have to press a release against a pretty strong spring that requires either good grip strength or something like pliers to help you press it, but IMO that also makes it less likely to slip or move when you don't want it to. Overall, very well made and very stout.

Just buy it already! You will kick yourself every time you use it because you did not buy it sooner! I know I do. Works just about were ever you need it! Taking a upper a arm off a newer F150? Pff, spin the head and catch the strut coil and push down! Boom, easy! Need to check track bar play but your silly 1 piece pry bar won't reach? Boom, extend the handle and spin the head and your golden! Sold all my other pry bars to buy this, universal all in 1 pry bar! Best price is here on Amazon, especially when it goes on sale. Super heavy duty and thick steel. I'm 250 lbs and was hanging off it fully extended and no issues. Does not slip very easily either. I also have the smaller ones and they work awesomely, now just waiting for the bigger one to go on sale so I can have the full set! Also, for the lower a arm, buy the OTC a arm hook. Paired with this, maid it a lot easier to lower the lower a arms on the F150 where you have to lower the lower a arm to get the strut out.

100% worth the money, I work on natural gas engines and heavy equipment. And this pry bars is very durable and the adjustable head is really nice to have.

This is one of the most versatile bits of kit I have ever bought. The range of movement is so good that it makes light work of changing motors on a shaft for 1 man. Or moving bulky machines into place.

Kicks ass. Super adjustable for tight spots, and you can really beat on it and it keeps on kicking. I'm sure you could break it if you tried, but I haven't tried not to break it 🤣

Tool &Die Maker here. At first I was skeptical but I loved the concept and wanted to try it so I ordered one. I have put it through it’s paces prying steel plates with it fully extended and it hasn’t failed nor looks to fail anytime soon. I’m truly impressed. A real time saver not having to find build up blocks to create the right leverage. A simple push of the button and bingo. I love it. A brilliant product.
