birds are enjoying this seed in the winter weather
We don't put out birdseed during the summer. During the winter we do. It is January and we have had snow cover here in SW Ohio for weeks and the temps have barely gotten near freezing. This is when the birds really appreciate some extra food. I'm using a cone feeder and they are emptying it 2 or 3 times a day. It is so fun to watch them swarming the feeder, trying to get the birds ahead of them to clear off and give them a chance to eat. We are getting mostly small birds. I also have suet out and that draws some woodpeckers. 90% of the birds we are getting are various kinds of sparrows. Not the most glamorous birds but they are loyal and eager eaters. I would say we are getting several hundred birds a day. We live in the woods and have lots of shrubs nearby that the birds use as staging areas. They are so fun to watch. Happy to feed them. They seem to like this brand of seed just fine. The larger birds, like cardinals and blue jays don't like cone feeders, too small to perch on them. Squirrels appear under the feeders but have no way to actually get up there and gorge, which is fine. They clean up the seed that falls on the ground and that is where we might also see some larger birds, like mourning doves, down there cleaning up the mess. This seed is a big hit in our neighborhood. I'm burning through about a pound of it a day. We mix this seed with additional sunflower seeds. They really need the high oil seed and while there are some in this mix we like to jazz it up with extra for these feathered feasters.

Excellent food for the price
I buy this bird feed and all the birds love it, especially the cardinals. I do mix it with the smaller seed feed for the smaller birds like the sparrows etc

Love the no waste.
This is full of millet for the little birds and some black sunflower seeds for the cards. Hate all the corn pieces that are put in most bags but this is very nice. No corn!
