WINDSTREAM Actiontec T3200 xDSL Wi-Fi Premium Wireless Router/Modem 1GIG

I called Windstream to select three models that complies to GoKinetic at my home. I did not want to rent their box anymore. Install was perfect! It came with instructions and it was securely packaged. With the help of my cell phone, I was able to get TV and modem to work together. I have not received my modem rental’s return label yet. Still waiting. After 24 months on the modem rental, I paid $263.76. It was $100 less to buy my new modem

This product, Windstream DSL Modem, never worked from the start. I contacted Windstream as the instructions with the modem said to do for set up. After Windstream did some checking of the modem through the line, they stated that the modem was defective and I should return it. The light on the modem for internet would never turn "green" but stayed "yellow" through Windstream's attempts to activate the modem. The instructions with the modem stated if contacting Windstream to set up the modem was not effective, to contact "FLAKNET" via text message before returning the modem. I sent a text to "FLAKNET", and someone answered back after about 4 hrs. They asked if I had contacted Windstream, and I answered back and stated yes, and that Windstream had tested the modem through the line, and could not reset it to work, and they stated the modem was defective. I received an answer back about 4 days later, and the person stated they were sorry about the delay, their system went down and they couldn't contact me. They asked the same questions again about Windstream. I gave them the same answer as before, i.e., Windstream stated the modem was defective. I never received another answer from them after texting them several times. I also called the number they gave 3 different times and no one ever answered. There was no voice mail to leave a message. After all this, it was beyond the window I could return the modem. I do not recommend this company to anyone. They are obviously rip-off artists.

Packaging was sub par, but the product is what I paid for to get rid of the monthly rental fee from windstream. Do a factory reset and it should work from there shortly after.

This is the exact replacement for the Windstream Actiontec dsl router we were renting. One thing to note, if you use this with Windstream, you will need to call their tech support which is in most part terrible. One lady finally helped us, they must "activate" the new modem in their system; you will need to give them your new serial number, and they will send you back the new dsl PPP user id and password. Otherwise, it would not work. Once they did that, it worked perfectly. The modem was already preconfigured with all the settings like the old one, which was also a big help.

My bad for misreading the guarantee. All you really get is the ability to send it back to Amazon if it breaks within 30 days. I purchased an additional 4 year Asurion "Protection Plan" which I assumed would get me a new modem if mine broke and couldn't be fixed. Wrong...all you get with this plan is tech support and a referral to the manufacturer if they can't fix it. The manufacturer doesn't even HAVE a warranty for this item. So here I am without internet or TV and my support guy is either out of business or won't answer my messages. It's been over two days now and I am looking at paying $90 for something that lasted 6 months, and now probably buying a new one.

Replacement router modem for home DSL network is easy2 install/use. I set it to specs provided by my wi-fi company. You may need filters if your company requires them. It's easy to set up the 2 lines for 5ghz and 2.4ghz use. Use ethernet and special DSL line in setup. You can manually pick channels or auto select them. Be sure to update login password for better security. Lots of tabs to set if needed. Takes bout 5 minutes to set up, but longer if you have lots of devices to add. Product is very reliable and the phone numbers provided w product are helpful if you need assistance.

So far so good. We have had it on our new wind stream service at a rental property in the mountains and it’s worked great. Was worried about the install when wind stream tech showed up but he saw it, was happy we had their equip and didn’t care where we got it. He made his changes, got it provisioned and it’s all good!

I purchased this router verses renting. It is serving the purpose.
