TPRC Sierra Madre Duffel Bag, Black, 30" Rolling

This is so nice!!! I needed a rolling duffle bag so I could use for my bulky stuff when traveling and not be overly huge. This is well made and compact enough for my 2 blankets and 2 pillows that I always travel with. It has a separate zipper compartment on the bottom which is nice! It has three separate zipper compartments as well for smaller stuff. This is definitely worth the money. it also has a pull bar that I can roll it easy with.

I used this bag for a 17 day ireland and Scotland trip. Went through at least 6 different airports and luggage handlers. It held up great! Zippers and seams are all in perfect shape. Because of reviews I read before purchasing, I also used 3 straps to make sure nothing shifted around (one stretch strap end to end and a bungee strap around each end) the bag and wheels held up perfectly and performed better than expected. This bag took a beating and still looks great! I love the separate compartment on the bottom for shoes and dirty clothes as I traveled. A+

I have used this gym bag for several months, several times a week, and it's a very good bag. I've gotten compliments on its attractiveness, and it has proven to be very functional. It is holding up well and seems to be sturdy and well-made. It doesn't have as many exterior pockets as the bag it replaced -- one at each end and one small pocket on the side for small items like a comb, handkerchief, keys, etc -- but that's okay for me. When lifting the bag into a car when it is filled, there is a rugged handle at one end and the straps that come together on top. I would have liked handles on both ends for a more balanced lift, but I'm used to using the straps now. The wheels seem to be rugged, but they are noisy on all but very smooth tile surfaces when pulling the bag by the extendable handle. That is the only negative thing that I have found -- noisy wheels. Maybe if they were a different material, they would be more quiet. I like the bag and would give it a "5" if the wheels were quiet.

I got two 30” bags and they were perfect for a two week sailing vacation. Very solid with good zippers. Light and a good amount of compartments. We use travel cubes to keep things organized. Our snorkeling gear easily fit in the lower compartment along with other things. The bag rolls well and the handles & grips are well placed. I didn’t miss the lack of compression straps as the size was perfect and we didn’t need them

I purchased this duffel bag for a trip to Los Cabos, and while I appreciated its spaciousness, I was disappointed with its durability. Upon arrival, the bottom of the bag had already broken, and on my return flight, the zipper malfunctioned, causing my belongings to spill out at baggage claim. The lack of durability resulted in additional expenses, as I had to purchase a new duffel bag for my final flight. Based on my experience, I would recommend investing in a more reliable and sturdy bag to avoid similar issues. The extra cost upfront may save you from embarrassment and unexpected expenses in the long run.

I bought this for a cruise where there was limited storage under the bed so I wanted a bag that would collapse flat. I also wanted a bag that had separate upper and lower compartments. I stuffed the bag completely full and am happy to report that it performed well on the trip. It survived a roundtrip flight to Europe (with a connection) and transfers to 2 hotels and a ship. I did add a luggage strap around the middle to give it extra stability. The zippers and wheels all work well. I am very impressed with the quality at such a low price. I recommend this bag.

I ordered this bag almost exactly one year ago. I use this bag for work trips about once per week. I use the top compartment for hard hat, safety gear, and other work related gear. I use the bottom compartment for clothes. I do like how it has two compartments to separate gear, plenty of room. After a year, the fabric on the sides has worn through, one of the zippers for the bottom compartment has broken away, and one of the roller wheels seems to have worked its way sideways on the axel (doesn't roll well). At the time it was $50, I'd probably recommend putting that towards something a bit more beefy as this one is a bit week.
