I recently got my hands on this blue controller, and I have to say, it’s been a great addition to my gaming setup. When it comes to functionality, the controls are spot-on. The buttons are responsive with a satisfying click, and the layout feels natural whether you're playing fast-paced action games or relaxing with something more casual. The joysticks offer precise movement, making gameplay smooth and enjoyable. Another thing is how comfortable it feels. The overall build feels solid in hand, not too heavy, not too light. Overall, this controller delivers exactly what you’d hope for, it has good looks, great feel, and reliable performance. I’m sure I’ll enjoy it for a long time to come!

Bought it for my Switch 1 and it has been a BOON! Compared to OEM pro controllers, this one here fits the bill as reliable and easy to use. There is a minor set back where the controller can soft lock itself from being used, thanks to software incompatibility how the Switch recognizes it, but it can easily be remedied by downloading it's software update on PC and connecting it and updating it. And wala, good as new.

For $30, this controller is absolutely remarkable! While I understand that the official Switch pro controller has some specific features that these lack such as HD Rumble and NFC, I find the quality of these 8bitdo ones to be significantly better. I currently have 2 of these, with a third on the way. In all my tests the 8bitdo controllers have provided consistent and accurate inputs throughout. For people looking to use this for PC games, the digital triggers will make this incompatible or ill suited for quite a few of them. That said, if you're playing on the Switch, these are the triggers your console was designed to use. There are far too many third party Switch controllers using analog triggers. The Switch cannot read analog input values, so the extra effort of pressing those triggers down is wasted on it. The rumble that's present on the controllers, while not Nintendo's HD rumble, is plenty immersive and works well. Gyro is also a much appreciated feature to have at this price point. Wake up works quickly for me every time. Don't forget to give them a little shake, or it won't work. Looks shouldn't matter as much as any of the above, but it most certainly doesn't hurt that these controllers look fantastic in every color. I will update my review, if I run into any early wear issues, but at this time, I strongly recommend these for playing on the Switch.

This is significantly better than Nintendo's own Pro controller. We don't usually use the Joyconns, but this is better than those too. Primarily, this controller has particularly great quality joysticks, and that's important to me. The buttons have good tactile feedback and don't ever stick. The bluetooth connection is strong and connects near instantaneously on either the Switch console itself, or a PC. The battery life is at least the 18 hours stated in the instructions. Usually more like 20+. And the charge time is minimal. Maybe a tenth of that. So 2 ish hours or so from zero to full power. Can be used while charging as well. Force feedback and motion control are also exceptional. One thing that surprised me, the underside of the handles is also covered in a grid like textured pattern that avoids slip in your grip. Tough to see in the pictures. Nice feel and heft to it. For the tech savvy, you can even update the firmware of these devices from 8bitdo themselves. You rarely get such long term support from a 3rd party device, but 8bitdo comes through. Seriously a fantastic company. Those who know use 8bitdo. If I have one complaint, it'd be that the small LED indicator for low battery starts flashing at too high a percentage remaining power. It's on the side facing away from the player, so not annoying. But the device will probably run at least 5 hours after the first time you see it blink. When the kids want to play, gone are the days of arguing to use the Nintendo branded controller. They'd rather play with this one instead. So the Nintendo Pro ends up player 2. I'm confident in recommending this controller to friends, family, and complete strangers. Definitely will buy again. I love this little controller. It doesn't have all the fancy stuff like rumble and analog triggers, but that's fine because none of that fancy stuff really matters most of the time. The d-pad is the best one I've ever used since the Dreamcast one, it has a good weight to it, and it feels nice in the hands. It is also blue. The only issue is the bluetooth hates linux for some reason. It'll connect just fine but it won't be detected as an input device. Wired mode works fine. But sometimes I don't want a dumb wire. They could probably fix this with a simple firmware update. Or maybe it's a linux driver issue. I don't know because I'm not a driver scientist. If you want to upgrade the firmware on it you need a Windows partition or you need to borrow your buddy's $4000 gaming laptop that he regrets buying. That makes me sad. If you're using it on Windows, it doesn't need a bloatware driver/software package like a logitech mouse or virtually any other input device these days. It just goes. So that's awesome. All of the controller options can be configured with button combos rather than software. I think the $60 version of this controller needs bloat/spyware so I don't want that one. It would be five stars if the bluetooth wasn't cranky. But the bluetooth is cranky. So it gets 4 stars.

Got this to use the turbo function. Works well and easy instructions, no extra app or anything needed. I do hear what others mentioned about loud clicks, but it doesn't really bother me since it's not my main remote. So far it's been a great extra controller at a reasonable price.

Way more comfortable than the joycons and feels sturdier than the Nintendo pro controller. My daughter likes to fight me over who gets the "good controller" for mario cart, so that's probably a glowing recommendation. Battery life seems petty decent, I plug it in every couple days.

Ótimo controle. Não sabia que era compra internacional (essa informação não estava clara), não fui taxada, mas demorou quase 30 dias para chegar. A qualidade é excelente, com material bem premium na construção. O D-pad (cruz) é extremamente macio e muito confortável de usar. Os demais botões têm sensação mais tradicional, porém ainda assim são de altíssima qualidade e com ótima resposta. Achei até melhor que o controle do Xbox Series S. É levemente menor, mas encaixa muito bem nas mãos. Conectou facilmente no Switch OLED e ainda possui a função de acordar o console ao chacoalhar. Recomendo, apenas fique atento ao prazo de entrega por ser compra internacional.

Me gustó mucho, el color es precioso, el cable es también rosa lo que me pareció buen detalle, se siente de buen peso, todos los botones y joysticks se mueven muy bien, se conecta fácilmente y también tiene vibración, me parece excelente por el precio. Obviamente es uso exclusivo para Switch y funciona Perfecto, incluso mejor que usando los controles incluidos con la consola, más cómodo.

El control lo adquiri para jugar en mi Nintendo Switch 2, estoy totalmente satisfecho con la compra, cumple fielmente con mis expectativas, buen tamaño y peso, acabados y diseño muy buenos (similar a la forma de un pro controler de Nintendo) totalmente funcional en mi Nintendo Switch 1 y 2, el control se siente durable y la cruz direccional es perfecta se siente un click muy cómodo bastante preciso a comparación de otros controles, así mismo todos los botones y joysticks respondiendo muy bien a las exigencias de juegos con mucha acción. Cumple con todo lo que ofrecen o hablan de el en su apartado de Amazon y llegó un día antes del día previsto para su entrega. Excelente opción si necesitas un control extra para Switch 1 o 2 sin recurrir a comprar los originales que tienen un precio muy elevado.

Funcionou perfeitamente (e melhor que o oficial) Para quem vai rodar especificamente no switch, a única diferença que encontrei é que o botão home não liga o switch quando pressionado, de resto tudo igual.
