Small battery that packs a punch
Drilled about 20 holes with my hammer drill into cinder block garage wall for hanging hooks, used this battery for about half the holes and used it on my impact to drive all the tapcons. still read 3 bars when it wasn’t even done charging before i took off. with just a dcf809, i accidentally snapped one of the tapcons even though i was being careful not to strip the threads. seemed to have the same power as my 4.0 tabless powerpack on the hammer drill when i was drilling the block. this is a great battery for small spaces or overhead work. very light, a good bit smaller than the 4.0s, but has great power. perfect for impact, hammer drill, oscillator, i’m sure it would do great on a grinder or sawzall too, but won’t have great runtime for those. little expensive $94 for a 3.5, i paid $148 for a 2pk of the 4.0 power packs, but overall great lightweight battery, glad to have it in my arsenal.

I received a dead DeWalt battery and the replacement came in an opened box without a charge!
I received a bad battery that would not charge or run for more than a minute. I charged it several times using the correct DeWalt battery charger, but it was dead so I returned it for a replacement. The replacement came and was poorly taped and clearly a used battery without a charge. So I returned the second battery and will head to Home Depot to buy a good, unopened battery for my DeWalt drill. That's petty rare in my Amazon experience!

I believe it's a good battery
Battery works fine no problem with delivery but it's one of many and this is one I would use with a lighter load of a tool

Size and power
The new DeWalt 3.5 AH power stack battery is awesome! It is the perfect size for impact drivers. Last year, I purchased the 5AH power stack battery, but it was too big for the impact (driver). It would get in the way when you’re in tight spots like kitchen cabinet work. The new 3.5 AH is the perfect size with plenty of power
