It's okay
The chips crisp up great. However, the flavor is barely noticeable. It didn't live up to my expectations. I ate these a lot as a kid. Our Asian supermarkets are disappearing and I'm glad we can still access some of our favorite flavors thru online shopping.

Fun addition to Asian or other meals. Colorful base for hors d'oeuvres or crunchy, light counterpoint to soups in place of croutons. Must be puffed in deep fat. Pepin serves them with caviar.
