Great product.

I’ve been using this for a few weeks now, and it’s become my go-to for a quick glow. The cream applies smoothly and dries fast without feeling sticky, which is perfect when I’m in a rush. It gives a natural, sun-kissed look that doesn’t turn orange, even on my fair skin.

I am reviewing Bali Body instant tan cream, which at the time of this review was $24 for a 5.07oz container. I'll start by saying this product does work well for a TEMPORARY self tan. I do think this could be highlighted better in the description; I was expecting a more lasting sunless tanner. But that's on me for not reading all the photos before ordering so I can't really ding it for that.However, it is a very natural color and does a great job of mimicking some sun kissed skin, which is great for the middle of winter in the midwest! Some of my sunless tanners have a green tint to them, so I have to apply them hours before going out. This is a perfect shade immediately after applying. It also smells nice, and does not have that distinct 'fake tan' smell that can come a few hours after using some sunless tanners. It also doesn't stain my hands.Now to the bad. First and foremost, it's just not a good value at this price. You don't get much for your $25; it will last me a while because I just use this on my face, but if you're doing your whole body I can't imagine you'd get more than 5 uses out of the whole bottle. Also, it's a very thick product and feels like it's drying before I can fully apply it, so it feels like I'm missing spots before I get it fully worked in. I started cutting it with just a tiny bit of water to help it stay liquid while I worked it in, which helped.I think if they got the price down to about $6-$10 it'd be a decent value, but I can get long term great quality sunless tanners for $10 every day of the week here on Amazon, so this priced at nearly $25 is just not a good value.

It's still winter and my husband loves me when I'm tan in the summer but alas! To cold to go expose myself to the elements...and I'm 50 this year and the last two years I've started getting sun spots so I'm rethinking ways to look darker. Giving this a try, never tried any tanning other than the sun, I used a microfiber washcloth and added about a tablespoon and rubbed it starting at my feet working up each leg then my stomach and upper torso down each arm, my bum, and lower back. It went on alot easier than I anticipated, my only problem area is my toes and crevices around my toes didn't want to blend. I was dry when I put on my clothes for work. I was very active walking and doing various job activities and after a 12 hr shift i find after undressing it's still applied. I can't really see any residual on my clothes. It does smell strong like a floral liquid foundation but strong. Not unpleasant but just wanting to impart if strong fragrance bothers you, this is. I like it, I wish it would last longer than my next shower. I'm not sure how much staying power it has after washing. Applying to my whole body except my face there's still enough to apply maybe four or five times. There was some air in the bottle but it made shaking it beforehand possible.

For one thing this bottle is half full if even that. Also it definitely comes out brown brown and that is great and all but it didn't match any bronzer or makeup I had. I also really didnt think It gave me too much color unless I put a lot of it on. I applied it with a brush, but it really just made me look dirty.
