Best knife? Hmmmmm. Here's my opinion
Great little knife. Is it the best as they say? Here's what I think.. The knife works as Great as any knife of it's kind, as it should because it's mostly about the blade when it comes to the cutting part. Where it beats other knives, is in the design. It just feels great in the hand and is easy to use and control. But the design is also it's weakest point at the same time. To retract the blade, you have to unscrew the end cap every time, when working quickly, this isn't a reasonable option. So, for a window tinter or car wrapper, it isn't the best choice. But I do find great uses for it in other applications where I don't need to quickly expose and retract the blade. To be the best knife, it would need to auto retract with a button and auto hold when you push the blade out. Only then could it be worthy of the name of best knife

Everyone should have one!
Hands down, this is the best blade I've ever used. The weight is perfect, not too heavy and not so light that you can't be accurate with your cuts. The blade breaks off easily and straight, not like those cheap ones the break off a piece of the next one too. The locking system is top notch, you tighten it by twisting the end. It's not just one of those that clicks when you slide the blade out, then loses it's lock when making a cut. Word of advice, its very sharp and will slice through skin like butter if youre not careful (i know this from personal experience, but it was absolutely from being careless) Definitely recommend.

Maybe not THE BEST
But close and nothing that can break easily and render it useless. Note that there is no storage for spare blades though.

Great knife for doing vinyl
Pros, I like the weight and fit for doing detailed trimming on wraps. Cons, mine came in with a broken plastic cap,so I pitched it. As long as you retract the blade it's not needed.

You'll want to use it for everything, buy more blades!
I love this knife!!! I had a minor issue with the first one and the company was absolutely fantastic about it, I can't speak highly enough of them. This is a super comfortable knife regardless of the crafting you're using it for, and the swap to an aluminum body was such a game changer for me. I thought the standard plastic version of this was functional and easy to use but this one blew that out of the water. Excellent design, easy to keep clean and replace blades when it's time Cap is large enough to keep track of it easily when it's needed. I'd love to see an option later on to come with more blades out of the get go but it's okay that it doesn't, that definitely isn't a game breaker; the ones that come with it are sharp and ready to go without issue and it's quick to get more.

Not Hardly
Best Damn Knife Ever Made? That's what it claims. It doesn't live up to that hype. And it all comes down to the red plastic blade gripper. First there are teeth on the inside of the metal handle that should engage with the red slider to give a positive locking point when extending the blade. This feature was clearly intended, it does not work. At all. This is a big fail. Second, this knife is intended to hold 30 degree high precision snap-off blades. Those blades have a hole at the back that should provide a positive engagement point for holding the blade secure. This handle (the red piece) does not actually engage with that hole. It just pinches the blade on both sides and relies on very little friction to hold it in place. This is not at all secure and actually dangerous. Plus the friction of removing old blades and replacing with new will wear this plastic piece down quickly, making it even more dangerous. These two failures mean the only way to positively secure the blade is by screwing down the locking screw making this holder a fixed blade holder. That may be fine for the home hobbyist, but these 30 degree high precision blades are the standard for vehicle wrap installers and I want a holder that will secure the blade and be quickly/easily retractable. That is clearly NOT this holder. You don't wrap vehicles with fixed blade knives. I expected better from Vvivid. I am thoroughly disappointed. The metal body, the powder coated finish, and feel in hand is what sold me on purchasing this in the first place. Those qualities are nice, but they're not enough. Definitely pass on this one. For less than half the price go with the NT Cutter A-553P and you won't be disappointed. Best Damn Knife Ever Made? Not hardly.

Good, with a significant issue though
Nice heavy weight blade holder that fits your hand well, blades are very sharp. But there is a terrible system and instruction for snapping blade tips off and that is to use the plastic cap. It won't work and is a bit dangerous. The plastic cap will break right away if you try to use it to snap off blades and the blades do not snap off at the score mark. They need to address this before I would recommend it as a buy.

Precision utility knife
Unique design. The blade is clamped into place with the red screw at the end of the knife. No wiggle of the blade at the tip and metal body. Thicker than most and is comfortable in the hand. The blade can be adjusted to any length (no click locks) and locked in place.

Its heavy quality i like it

Very ergonomic retractable knife, after figuring out how to replace the blade it was a game changer. There’s a lock at the base of the handle that secures the blade position.👍

I bought 2 . First one was perfect , the second one seemed hastily produced and wasn't machine finished as well.

This lil blade is so unbelievably sharp and strong. It cuts through sprues like butter with now force applied, whatsoever. Best $$$ for the best D@mn knife there truly is out there. (That I HAVE seen lol)

I am in construction, I bought this knife to replace my olfa, it is a solid built knife, the screw driver and nut drivers are handy, a big problem for me is that I didn’t find the locking nut would hold the blade, especially if it got a little bound up on the material, it would pull the blade out when you applied downward force, the process to change the blade was kind of a pain as well due to the numerous pieces in the locking mechanism (thumb wheel, spring, washer and bolt), these would be very easy to lose and a pain to change while working especially on a ladder. If they improved the locking mechanism and made it simpler to change the blades it would definitely earn the title as the best knife. I think it would be a great craft/hobby knife, but would not recommend it for a construction/heavy application
