I didn't think I would. This is a tie-in, so it doesn't carry the main story of the Dark Nights: Metal event. The art style for the various issues doesn't always click with me. And it doesn't really move the ball or have a lot of depth in terms of the characters. But, at the end of the day, it's enjoyable. Almost felt like watching the Justice League cartoon again. While Batman and Superman are off during the main events of Metal, the Teen Titans, Suicide Squad and other heroes are facing off with the psychotic Batmen of the dark multiverse in a warped Gotham. The story is contained, the setting is unique, and the creepy gothic vibe is almost more "metal" than the actual "Metal" story (which mostly gets cosmic in the back half). If you liked Metal, I think you'll really like the Resistance, which just shows more of what was happening with the world during the event, and has a fairly direct, easy-to-follow storyline. Review: Loved this collection of stories, the different artists do a great job in each story - Loved this collection, the different writers and artists really shine in very different but beautiful and interesting ways. This is probably my favorite so far of dark knights metal series so far. Seeing the number of different characters and the stories they go through connect alot of what's gone on already but again in each story the writer makes it wholly original but fit into this insane narrative. Loved the art and how they show cased all the different artists styles from the 1st story to the last each has its own unique look. Really enjoyed this and continues to be my favorite crisis in the DC universe so far

As a casual comic reader I really enjoyed this!
I don’t read comic much but I’m pretty well versed in most DC superheroes. For this collection I highly recommend also grabbing the issues the forge and the casting, dark knights rising collection, and dark knights metal collection as well. Find a reading order online and read it that way. All three collections happen simultaneously, so reading them in order requires bouncing back and forth between all three collections, but is worth it in my opinion. On its own it’s a good read but kind of unsatisfying at the end and a little confusing if you don’t know what’s going on with the main series.

"WOW" is not enough
This book was amazing. This is #2 in the Dark Nights series, right behind "Metal" itself. The resistance within Gotham isn't even the best part of this novel. The final issue in this collection is a mind-bending story that deepens the plot of "Metal" so much that you NEED to read this is you want to read Dark Nights. Wow. What a work of art Greg Capullo and Scott Snyder have crafted. Take it from a Batman fan. You want to own these 4 books in the Dark Nights series.

7 Evil batman vs the justice and Teen Titains. This is pretty metal!
Great tie ins in the events of metal. The ones that stand out is " Batman Lost " and "HawkMan Found". The Bats out of hell were very cool but wished the fights were longer. None the less it is dark, intense and a fun ride through this book. The only complain , I wish it came as a hard cover like the ones before. Other than that, it's a great collectors item!

Great tie in to Metal series. This worked as a stand alone story line in the main title.
Some tie ins are not worth reading but this one was!! You get to see a side of the story that is well done. I liked this one and read it after the main story, kinda wish that this was made into the main story because it was well done.

Dark & Brutal
This is a must read if you are trying to read the complete Dark Knight metal series. The tie ins really help round out the story of metal and 100% should read otherwise you will miss some crucial plot points. Also the art work is amazing.

「Dark Nights: Metal: the DX edition」が第一巻目なら 本作「〜Metal the Resistange」を二番目に読んで正解でした。
