This is more of a crystal like salt and not an actual powder as advertised. I used it in combination with a styptic powder to treat a bad HOT SPOT that was bleeding and sore on my dogs face. It seemed to numb the area well so my dog would not keep scratching the wound open.

Had to return item, wasn't what I thought it was. I ordered the wrong item
