2X Boot Struts for Qashqai MK II All Engine SUV 2013-2018 for #904504EA1A

Wasn't sure these were the correct struts but once arrived, installation was very easy, fitted correctly and are working superbly.

Purchased for my Skoda Octavia Estate 2011 as my original boot struts had both completely failed. These arrived next day thanks to Prime Membership and took minutes to install (used a spare piece of timber to prop open the boot safely) After installing the boot remained open securely and after closing and opening multiple times the boot lid opens effortlessly and remains fully held perfectly! Excellent product at a very reasonable price!

I purchased this for my 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe and they fitted perfectly and worked much better than the original rusty units. Highly recommended and easy to fit. First class and hold the rear tailgate fully open.

These did NOT fit my 2011 hyundai i10 even thought it says they fit from 2008-2013, they are too long so the boot does not close, a total waste of people,s time.

Perfect fit for Vitara MK 4 - 2015 onwards. There is a technique for fitting the retaining clips which is not clear on relevant YouTube videos. Using fingers slide the tip of the clips onto the ends of each strut before fitting to the ball mounts. ( Ensure the clips do not obstruct the ball mounts). Once each strut end is on the ball mounts push the clips down about 5mm using finger, or a small screw driver until snapped into place. There is no need to bend / adjust the clips before fitting. A little grease on the clips and ball mounts will help. FYI - I spent 30 mins trying to fit the first strut with numerous swear words…. Once the process worked out it took seconds for the other strut!

arrived quickly, good finish, good build for the price and a 5 minute job with a flat head screwdriver to replace. lacks instructions but is easy to figure out once you get hands on. keeps the trunk open without issues and assists in opening it without making it needlessly hard to close. Install process for anyone needing help, remove the plastic clip from the old struts, pull them off, place new strut in place and press it on.
