Good Orthotics If You Have The Required Foot Shape
I purchased these orthotics after having them recommended to me by a local specialty shoe store that I trust. I have them in a pair of neutral New Balance running shoes that I liked except they lacked sufficient arch support. These Aetrex insoles definitely provide enough arch support for me, almost too much in fact. I am 6'2" and 201 pounds and run about 20 miles per week and am therefore pretty hard on footwear. These have proven to be quite resilient and durable and I recommend them to anyone who has an appropriate foot shape to need the level of support they provide. I have noticed that my feet and knees feel better after running with these in the shoes (versus the stock New Balance insole,) but they do take some getting used to. I find the arch support to rise and fall without much subtlety under the midfoot area, which feels a bit akin to having half a tennis ball under your arch for lack of a better analogy. I'm not discouraging their use in any way, but I think my arch shape is a bit less highly sloped at the margins for these to be quite perfect. I plan on using these until they wear out (which at this rate could take a while; I've been running with them for two months now) and then trying something else. I have no objection to them other than they feel quite pronounced in my shoe, especially while standing or walking.

THE BEST AETREX INSERT (EVEN BETTER THAN THE OLD RED MODEL)
I have used the old red inserts for several years. Then had to go with the replacement model (gray) which was too thick and less comfortable. This model is even better than the red inserts of the past.

Best insoles for a flat feet
I have tried ten seconds and many others, but this one changed my life. I use then for walking and play tennis. They have been vey sturdy and never lost the arch support during this time (almost 3 years). Just by a higher shoe size tand if possible bring the insoles to make sure they will fit. Also, there are some shoes models that don't fit well, so be carefull.

Seems useless. I returned for my trusty Powersteps
While the arch appears higher than my Powerstep Pinnacles, they flatten out when I step on them. Seems useless. I returned for my trusty Powersteps.

High quality product
There's no doubt this is a high quality product. I have very high arches and with these inserts, I feel much more balanced.

Two Stars
the arch is too far back, rubs the heel

Not very comfortable
Not like the L2205 memory foam inserts from this company! Also, the arch support is almost non-existent. My feet hurt when I tried using them - this was only 30 seconds of walking. I immediately put them back in the box and will return them. I will give back a star if the refund is satisfactory.
