Screen Protector for Echo Spot -Protect The Echo Spot's Screen, Remove Residual Fingerprints and Protect The Privacy of Users.Designed (Black)

This is the second Echo Spot Screen with camera cover that I've purchased (both this same item.) They are extremely easy to install - the first time - and there were no dust specks or bubbles to be found. In fact, you can barely tell the cover is on there, but it is paramount to protect the screen from scratches. It doesn't interfere with the responsiveness of the touch screen either. The camera cover is also a added feature that sets this cover apart from the rest. It's great for security, especially since I have my echo spot in my bedroom where I could be getting changed. (I also purchased this brand's protector with camera cover for my Echo Show and am just as happy with that one as well.)

This is a well thought out addition for the Echo Spot. I had no problems installing it, just takes a steady hand and use of the alignment stickers which are included. I like that it includes an allowance for the light sensor (located next to the camera) so that you still get the automatic display brightening and dimming that the Echo offers. The cover also doesn't mess up the touch screen abilities, I need to swipe up every morning to cancel my alarm and this hasn't been impacted at all. Don't hesitate to buy one of these, lots of peace of mind for a small price.

Very easy to apply. Makes the touch screen a little slower to respond but worth it to protect my screen from accidents.

I bought 3 of these to protect the Spots we have in our kids bedrooms. The glass protects the screen and the privacy slider protects from any potential hacking of the camera. It was easily applied and serves it's purpose. I wish they would make a combo screen/privacy protector for the Echo Show.

The glass is much like any protective cell phone glass protector kit (cleaning wipes, dust removing stickers and is of high quality. But the real reason I purchased this product is for the privacy slide to cover the camera lens when not in use. This product should be a standard option for any product with a camera. I would purchase this in a heart-beat if they also offered this privacy product for my cell phone. The only problem with this product is it extremely hard to line up the glass with the lens and still not be crooked on the Echo Spot. My suggestion for the company is to also include a plastic guide-ring that would temporarily sit on the edge of the Spot's glass allowing the perfect alignment of the protective glass when being installed. Once the protective glass is in-place, you could remove the guide-ring.

This seemed to be one of the higher rated products to protect the screen (and cover the camera) of my Echo Spot. When it arrived I applied it by following the included instructions, which are similar to installation instructions for any other screen protector, and it seemed to install smoothly with no issues.However, the first time I tried to use the sliding camera lens cover, the small piece of metal that covers the lens literally fell off of the screen protector. Mind you, I did not try to force the slider, I only used gentle pressure, so I was surprised when it broke upon its first use. I was able to finagle the piece back into its “track” to cover the lens, which has worked for the time being but is definitely not a permanent solution.My other issue with this product is that a few days after I installed it, I noticed a large air bubble had formed at the top near the camera lens cover. This had not been present when I installed it, and try as I may I haven’t been able to smooth it out and since it’s at the top of the screen it’s affected the Echo Spot’s touch screen functionality, which is disappointing.Since this product is priced similarly to other comparable screen protectors, and because of its high average customer review I expected a higher quality product than what I received.

I am very happy with this Spot cover. It works great and is easily applied. The camera cover button easily slides back and forth to give you privacy when you want it. Recommend.

I have purchased 6 of these. They are on my spots and my parents. The camera covers that are part of the protective cover-built in- no separate application, works easily. The covers are virtually undetectable. Have no issues with spot not responding to touch commands.
