Cool Scarf
This is just a scarf with a deconstructed look. Its hard to make it as hood-like as it shows in the picture. I like the scarf and the accompanying scarf pin. No complaints.

Pricey, but a good length
This is definitely a true shawl due to the length of over 6 feet, but it is quite thin, so you can twist it and wear it as a scarf, a sash, a belt or a head wrap as well, so it's pretty versatile. I got the green colored one and it looks exactly like the pictures. The metal brooch is a nice addition if you do wear it as a shawl, although it's not really necessary since the length will keep it wrapped securely around you. As a cosplay piece though, it adds to the effect. I can see using this for a number of different costumes or just as an everyday scarf. It reminds me of the scarves that wrap around your neck multiple times that I've seen people wearing in Europe. Very unique.

Excellent
This is a really cool post apocalyptic costume accessory. I haven't actually been able to get anybody to wear it so far, so maybe I will, lol. Of course the holes and distressing are very uniform but it still is decent quality. It's cotton, which is fabulous. Definitely recommend for your Ren faire or Halloween costume.

disappointed…
the color and style was good when it came in. unfortunately i washed it ONE TIME and the black faded so much. it’s now grey and white... so now i need to dye it. the quality is alright. it’s thinner than a normal pash (probably the reason why it faded easily) and not as soft as i expected. not worth the price. the picture is after the wash. i don’t have a before but it was way darker than this.

Absolutely loved it
I cannot stress how much I loved this scarf. I bought it for a trip to the middle east and it did not dissapoint. I looked like Jesus in the flesh. The style is so beautiful, it looks wore out but great quality and soft. I loved it.

Great for renaissance faire or cosplay
This is exactly as described. Looks super cool. I'll try and update with pictures when the whole outfit is put together

Seems like a lot of money for what it is.
This is a simple rectangular shawl that is best described as "threadbare". The already nearly shear cloth is marked in a checker board where every other square only has threads traveling in one direction, making it even thinner and more fragile. Granted, that's a lot of how it achieves its weathered and tattered look--by being artificially tattered. The most interesting thing is the brooch is almost substantial. It's very soft and the pin in particular is easily bent. If you use it like a pin, poking it through the fabric, you'll end up finishing the destruction of the shawl in no time. But the brooch is just sturdy enough, and just large enough that with fabric this lean, you can use it properly, as a sort of clamp, putting the circular part on top of folded over fabric, pushing it part way through the center so that it bulges out slightly, then bringing the pin underneath the fabric, up through the gap in the circle, and rotating the circle a bit under the pin. If you use it like that, the brooch will probably fail before the fabric.Unfortunately, it's a little short to drape well if completely doubled over, and I definitely feel like it should be mostly doubled over for strength and function.

Awesome for cosplay!
Fantastic for cosplay! It is well made and way better than some of the other options I have tried. I think it would work for many cosplays but I got mine specifically for my star wars outfit for May the 4th. It is soft and easy to style. I like the color, I know some complained that the coffee color was not dark, I actually like the tan-ish color you get. It works great!
