Works well and has solved the problem

After my softener dispenser stopped working, i found this gadget which works perfect in my front loading washing machine. Super simple to use, i would highly recommend if you dont have a softener compartment or have trouble with your washing machine dispensing softener from the drawer.

Not a fan of these. Unfortunately far too often these stain the clothes with conditioner forcing you to wash again. Not worth the hassle

I purchased this for a front loading washing machine - the fabric softener dispenser has stopped working but the detergent section is still going strong. This product is made for the American style top loaders but I thought I'd give it a try and see what happens. It's never going to be as good as the built in dispenser so as long as your expectations are low, you won't be disappointed. There are some reviews mentioning blue staining but I haven't found this to be the case on whites, colours, trainers or any of my laundry. Laundry does not feel as soft as it would usually, because the ball must pop open, releasing the softener before the rinse cycle. However, I do notice a difference between using this and having no softener at all. So it does make a bit if difference, just not a huge amount. I do feel like I'm wasting softener though so have changed to a detergent that contains some and I use a little less in the ball. As I'm not ready to replace the washing machine, this is a fairly inexpensive temporary solution. Don't expect a lot and you won't be disappointed. But if you're looking for fluffy towels, don't buy this.

Used in my front loader and seems to work perfectly. Just pour in conditioner, seal the tab and put in the drum. It comes out empty with the tab open.

Great product, we really needed something like this and it does the job perfectly. Money well spent.
