It stretches really well!!
I am 40 inches around the bust and 180 pounds right now. This thing stretches very comfortably around everything. Do I LOOK like an exploded can of biscuits? A bit. Do I feel like it? No. It’s comfy. And it very comfortably holds my medela pump flanges in place and KEEPS them there. I can hold and bottle feed my baby while also pumping, without them getting knocked off the nipple or losing suction. Does it look like you’ll definitely never fit in it and what the heck are they thinking calling it a large? Yes. Are you familiar with spanx though? It’s necessary to have some compression to keep things where you want them. BTW this thing is a hell of a lot more comfy than spanx. You’re welcome. Buy it. If it makes you feel better, get that long one size fits all Velcro pumping thing at the same time like I did, so you know you’ll have something that will fit. You’ll prob return the one size fits all Velcro thing. It’s not as comfy. Note, it is necessary that you are good at zipping things lol. One side of the zipper wants to pop out of your hand if you don’t hold it. Hook the top first, then pull everything together, HOLD it well, and zip those puppies up. Enjoy not holding those dang flanges for half your life.

I’m in love with this bra
This is by far my favorite pumping bra. I’m an exclusive pumper so I pump A LOT! I’ve tried a lot of pumping bras and this is by far my favorite. It’s nice and tight so it stays on well, keeps your flanges in place, stops flanges from sagging, the holes are nice and small so the flanges don’t fall out or move around. The only downside I could see is if you use a spectra and use the normal parts. I have a spectra that is a work horse and I use the lakteck flanges and the adapter for the spectra. This bra works perfectly for that. If you use that original spectra parts then this bra wouldn’t work but their other bras would. If you’re looking for the best pumping bra then you’ve definitely found it.

A LIFESAVER!!
This bra has been a lifesaver for me! Immediately after putting it on I wish I had ordered it sooner. I use the Medela double pump and was SO tired of having both my hands occupied for 20 mins at a time - not being able to drink water (which is so important because it helped me produce more milk while pumping) not being able to scratch an itch on my arm, or move a hair off my face.. I looked into hands free cups, but didn’t want to spend $50+ so I was excited when I remembered these bras. After reading the other reviews I wasn’t really sure what size to get - according to the chart I’m a size Med but I sized up and ordered the Large and it fits perfect. The material is very sturdy and comfortable!* It’s extremely disappointing that the very 1st review that shows up and is rated the “most helpful” is by someone who doesn’t know how to put this bra on! HERE IS HOW YOU PUT IT ON: It’s a little tricky, but while the bra is on and halfway zipped up, you place the flanges on your breasts, then the flange tunnel goes thru the slit openings. Then after zipping it up all the way, attach the remainder of the assembled bottle onto the tunnel, and then attach the tubing. Voila, done! This gets easier & faster to do after a couple times and is not as difficult as it sounds. Trust me, if you’re looking to be hands free while pumping you NEED this bra!

Medela Hands-free Pumping Bra
Update: I do compressions when pumping to help prevent clogs and it helps me with engorgement. But since I started using this bra, I completely stopped the compressions and my supply went down to half of what I normally get; it took me about a week to figure out the problem. Also noticed a bit of engorgement between pump sessions, so I have stopped using this bra altogether. Within 2 days, my supply has gone back up. So, just an FYI.---I was so excited to try this bra--got the LARGE and I'm a 38C. It's my second time pumping exclusively and have spent endless hours holding flanges to my boobs. This bra serves its intended purpose but it's a bit hard to zip it up every time, so rather than wasting more time fiddling with the zipper, I just slip it over my head and that seems to work well. The fabric is super soft, thick, and very comfortable. I hand wash it when I'm taking a shower and let it air dry; anything with spandex you don't ever want to put in the dryer if you want to keep it from stretching out or falling apart over time. I have a Spectra S2 and the flanges stick out, making it hard to maneuver around them but this bra allows me to pump and drive. Now, I know this bra is meant for Medela flanges and I have used a Pump in Style pump which has the advantage of removable flanges that also don't stick out so far. The Spectra flanges fit but I had to force them through the holes and the plastic actually bent to the point I thought they were gonna break, so I carefully removed the stitch that closes the seam and moved it down 1/4". Now the flanges get through much easier and still stay secured. I I use 8oz bottles because I have an oversupply, so when the bottles get full, they feel a little weird dangling from the bra. Overall it's a good purchase and I would definitely recommend it to pumping moms.

THIS IS FOR PUMPING ONLY
This is my second time purchasing this bra and for size reference, i'm usually a 34DD to 34DDD.First time I purchased a large which fit my needs at the time, having over-full breasts. Over the 1.5 years of pumping it stretched out. I used it with my second baby as well and noticed my milk supply wasn't as great as it had been.So second time around I purchased a medium because my boobs are not overfull and I realized with the stretching of the large the flanges were not snug to my breasts anymore, hence not securely extracting the milk. You need this pumping bra to be tight so the flanges stay flat/flush to your skin to be able to extract the milk. Even tho it's snug, I'm still able to slip in my LaVie lactation massagers as well. This pumping bra works well for sitting at my computer, working from home, and pumping while working or eating lunch. It is NOT for everyday wear, there are nipple holes for a reason. So for those complaining or knocking off stars bcuz of this, well duh...it's for pumping. The material is soft, the zipper is amazing quality, and it fits snug to stay in place while you pump.
