Affordable and excellent sound quality
First, i wanna say thanks to amazon for sending the package so early.Overall:overall this mp3 is very good value. It has a lot of features like voice recording, equalizer(normal, rock, pop, jazz, classical, funk, hip hop, dance, full bass, full treble and custom),video, photo, fm radio, settings and music. This mp3 player is sturdy. Don't be fooled by the price, its a good buy and its worth it. Out of all the mp3 players I've had, this is the best because its cheap, its loud, its sturdy and its a high quality product. Hands down this is BETTER than ipod it has more features like a custom equalizer and voice recording and you can change the color of the wallpaper. BETTER yet its half the price or even less.Sound Quality:The sound quality is increadable. I had tracks in this mp3 player, that sound really good, on other mp3 players it sounded a little raspy and muffled but on this player its clear. This mp3 player comes with an equalizer(normal, rock, pop, jazz, classical, funk, hip hop, dance, full bass, full treble and custom). I mostly prefer custom.Video:I have downloaded 4 videos and they look pretty good to me. On the menu you can make the video brighter or darker, which is very good. To download videos to the sansa fuze you have to download the sansa media converter. The sansa media converter also converts photos to the mp3 player as well. Google: sansa media converter, and you should find it. I don't think anyone could be able to put videos on a sansa fuze if you never used the sansa media converter. I tried to download videos on my own but no avail. So if you want videos on your sansa fuze you have to download the sansa media converter. Before i send a video to the sansa media converter i convert the video to mpeg4 15 fps using free youtube downloader (you can download this at cnet downloads.com <-- just google this)Photos:I haven't downloaded my own photos yet, but if you want no issues with downloading photos you should download the sansa media converter.Voice recording:the voice recording is pretty easy to use.Headphones:This mp3 player came with a pair of good headphones. These headphones are good but i usually change my headphones with the in-ear types. I like silicone headphones because they seal the ear canal, but these headphones are durable and pretty good if you don't mind their shape and if they fit you well.

Nice mp3 player, but non-standard cable
This is an early review, having just received it yesterday, however it is a very nice unit: small, solid, good user interface and with the SDHC slot, I can put my entire music collection into it. It looks like two flash drives when you connect it up with the usb cable: one for the internal memory and one for the sdhc card. You just drag/drop stuff and it finds them.My main complaint is the cable interface: *WHY* did they use a proprietary connector? If it used a standard micro usb connector, any common usb cable would work for both power and the use connection. This stupid design decision makes that cable gold --- lose it and you can never recharge it (unless the cable is still magically available at some unknown time in the future --- in this industry??? Riiiiigggghhhhtttt...). At least you can pull the SDHC card and put in a standard reader to update files, though if you can't recharge the unit, there's no point.I would give the fuze 4.5-5 stars if it weren't for this issue.

More Portable than the bigger boys
This is my first MP3 player, and overall, I like it. It doesn't take up space and is light. The sound quality is good. The images are sharp. The controls are good. (It didn't come with much in the way of instructions, so it was by accident that I discovered one can spin the dial to flip through options. I guess they didn't expect an old guy like me to buy one.) As for quality of construction: It looks shiny and solid! However, the back half isn't snapped into the front half with 100% perfection. I gave up trying to pop it in, figuring I might break it. It's just a millimenter or two, and doesn't seem to really matter. Also, the sliding control on the right-hand side seems a little like something that might eventually break. Hopefully, I'm wrong!Overall, a fine device. For the price, why bother with an Apple or Zune? They're just harder to carry around.

Great, Inexpensive MP3 Player
I bought this player one month ago, and I have been using it daily. I love the small size which makes it easy to put in my pocket. It comes with a nice little pouch to put over it. This is great for keeping the screen from getting scratched by keys or other things in my pocket. My daughter got a iPod Nano for Christmas, and I was impressed with the ease of use, so I decided to look for a used one (very expensive). I decided to go with the Sansa Fuze instead, and I have not been disappointed. I especially like that it has a separate menu for podcasts. I am a mail carrier, and most of us get tired of listening to music all day. The sound quality sounds just as good to me on my Sansa as her iPod. The cost was very reasonable, and I like that I can add more storage with the micro SD card slot. The dial on the front works very well. It makes navigating the menu screens a breeze. The lock slide switch on the side is a great feature, too. Battery life seems good. It takes several days of use just to get it below half-way on the battery meter. Loading music and podcasts is a snap. You just drag and drop items from Windows Media Player to your player and click the sync button. No extra software required. If you want a great sounding, easy to use MP3 player that won't break your budget, I would highly recommend this Sansa Fuze 2 GB Video MP3 player
