Turtle Tank Filter Aquarium Fish Filter w/U-V Light for Large 40-150 Gallon

As of now it's 5 stars as it cleared up the turtle water very well (water is clear but may look greenish in video as tank is on top of teal colored stand). Virtually no noise. We have 1 turtle in a 35 gallon tank. Sits nicely against the inside wall of the tank. I haven't had any issues with it moving as I have it tucked into the corner and up against the top lip of the tank. I like that the top can be removed and the filters cleaned. Turtle appears to like as he was sitting under the waterfall one day. If it lasts I will be very happy. (I also treat the water with Flukers Eco Clean which helps keep the water clean)

I have honestly notice a big difference ever since I switched over my 20 gal tank to this filter. The water stays clearer for longer. It’s easy to set up. Downsides are that the some of the filtration parts are tedious to clean but overall it’s convenient and worth it because it cleans pretty well. It’s relatively quiet unless you have a low water level otherwise you can barely hear it. Happy with the price I paid for the product over all would buy again

I love this filter. It was a solution to a big problem. I have a large turtle and his indoor winter enclosure is a tank and in between the heat lamp and the sunshine the water would turn green in less than a week. I was constantly draining it and refilling it and that's a problem with 75 gallons. But this filter system keeps the water crystal clear. Still it does Gunk up with his poop but I can siphon that out. I usually do change the water about once every 2 months now which is a blessing over what I was doing.

I just bought this item. It had already stopped working, but I fixed it. I am not sure how long it will remain working. There is a white shaft that supports the electric motor, that fell and broke into two. This actually helped me more than hurt, because the motor had stopped spinning, but it was because the shaft was not in both the top and bottom rubber supports causing it to stop spinning and getting stuck against the side magnetically. I affixed the two pieces of the shaft one into the top and one into the bottom rubber holder which actually made the process easier because the shaft that came with my unit just wasn't long enough to sit easily into each of the rubber holders. I am sure there is a joke in there somewhere. It is working well, but I would say it lacks a bit of durability and the manufacturer needs to make sure that the motor shafts are proper size.

No! This filter is terrible. The water in my turtles tank looks horrible. My poor turtle, not happy with this purchase at all. Now I have to purchase another filter to replace this one.

This is the best filter I've ever had!! I have own turtles for the last 20 years, I wish I'd had this filter the whole time!! This last year has been the best year when it comes to keeping the tank clean!! It is wonderful! In fact I was having problems with a fish tank and I used it in the fish tank for just a short period of time and it cleared it up within 15 minutes I was totally amazed! I placed it back with my turtles now but if I can find one that's like this for a fish tank that can be submerged I'd buy it in a heartbeat!!

I chose this filter based on positive reviews. I'm glad I did. Filter is super quiet and doesn't take up a lot of room. Since MC turtle was already due for maintenance I did a complete water change and installed the filter at the same time. Water is crystal clear and she's very happy playing under the waterfall. I highly recommend.

Purchased this november and it worked good until a few days ago. The UV light won’t stay inside the filter not sure why. Still operational but not as effective. The noise level is good just want the light to stop popping out of the inside. It came packaged easy to install and is easy to keep clean. Fits my tank welll. The price wasn’t bad for the product. Contacted the manufacturer via email and received a timely response.
