Dickies Men's 874® Flex Work Pants

This was my first purchase, the pants are a good quality, there is not much stretchiness, durable, the wrinkle resistance is excellent, the value for money is great and these pants were on sale when purchased. The fit was secure, but I would like more room in my waist. I will be purchasing a larger size to ensure that I have a relaxed fit in my waist, currently the size I got is too small. The appearance of these work pants is amazing, there are front and back pockets, and the color is rich. These work pants are easy to care for, wash, and store. You can purchase these pants from Amazon in multiple colors.

These are basically the classic 874 but with a bit of stretch added, which makes a real difference if you're bending, squatting, or on your feet all day. Fit is true to size, workwear-straight through the leg, not skinny but not baggy either. Fabric feels tougher than most casual pants, holds up to actual work and washes well without fading fast. Downsides: they're not breathable in hot weather, and the stretch is subtle — don't expect jogger-level flex. Also run slightly long, so hemming might be needed. Overall: solid budget workhorse pants, especially if you liked the original 874 but wanted a little more give. Good for trades, retail, or just daily wear if you like a structured pant.

Like the pants but didn't fit to the sizes they ran small

Too big. I followed the recommendations of all the other reviews saying the size up. Big mistake. Loose around the waist but two baggy and all the other places. Being that it's a Dickies and their measurements are rigid, I'm going to have to buy it in person. Other than that the quality and the material are awesome. If it was the right size it would have been great!

These Dickies 874 Flex Work Pants are comfortable and feel great while I’m working. The flexible material makes it easy to bend, move around, and stay comfortable throughout the day. They fit well, look professional, and feel strong enough for demanding work. Great work pants—I would definitely buy another pair!

These pants run on the smaller size in the waist so I purchased one size up (32). The pants are comfortable, wash well, and ae easy to move around in all day.

So, unlike the not-flex pants I wore before these, these thankfully acclimated to my belt size better. I still had to go up a 40, but they're not choking my thighs like the regular 874s would. Durability is only slightly better than generic sweatpants, as I've come to realize. Usually you lose the Hook part in the dryer or the inner thigh area wears down, regardless, try not to expect much from these past 5 months. They're warm like the regular 874s. I'd think they look okay in terms of using for more professional settings. In terms of Value, I'd say they're a benchmark price. Not too expensive but not necessarily cheap. Buy 2 pairs to switch between if you can, though, you don't want to come to work and realize your groin's feeling breezy.

I am a size 36. Many times I can fit in a 34 no problem but I always order 36 to be safe and just wear a belt if theyre too large. The first pair of pants I bought were a 36 and I could barely buckle them. I figured they might stretch a little after a couple wears and washings but they remained way too tight. I purchased the same pants but in 38 and could not tell any difference. Had to buy another pair with a 40 waist which I can buckle with ease. Even with the word flex in the title there is really no flex in the waist because even the 40 is kind of uncomfortable after a long shift. Despite the sizing issues, these pants are incredible quality. The material never looks bad even after getting food and alcohol dumped on it all night. They still look brand new and hold no stains. The pockets are deep and I've never felt like anything would fall out of them. I recommend Dickies to all my coworkers and just warn them to go a couple sizes up from normal when ordering.

Nice fit and very comfortable

My husband loves Dickies for every day. He is retired now but finds them very comfortable for either relaxing or getting things done from his "Honey Do" list.

I never leave reviews, but I’m extremely disappointed with this purchase. While the pants look nice, they arrived in used condition (clearly previously worn) and were covered in pet hair, very disgusting, especially since they were advertised as new. Pants are being returned.

Very poor quality. Messy unfinished stitch work. Fabric began to get ‘bobbly’ after only one wear.
