This vertical rotisserie oven works every bit as good as expected. My trussed chicken turned out great, pork al Pasteur was pretty good. My 5.5 lb. chicken fit just fine. Website description was correct in it was ez to clean (wait till cooled). Would buy again.

I recently bought the Nutrichef Vertical Countertop Rotisserie Oven. I like it very much. So much so, I am making this comprehensive positive review. If you're like me, you will appreciate the depth and scope of my thorough review to help you decide if you want to purchase. First, It came incredibly fast. I ordered it late Sunday night, and it was delivered Tuesday afternoon. Fast delivery aside, I am very impressed with the size of the oven, and with the quality of construction. I read some negative reviews suggesting the construction was sub standard. I disagree with those reviewers. I found it to be constructed very solidly. I like how the curved tempered glass door stays open, when you open it all the way, and shuts by itself, when you put it in any other position besides fully open. Setup was instantaneous, as it was fully assembled right out of the box. You might want to wash the racks, skewers, bowls and pans, as well as the inside of the oven, just to remove any grease or manufacturing residue from the factory. There really didn't seem to be any, but I washed all the accoutrements anyway, just to be safe. The oven comes with everything you could possibly want for making kabobs, for using the rotisserie, and even for baking. I did a 20 minute "burn in ", to make sure that any fumes or smoke from the initial use did not get on my food. There was a small amount of smoke, when I first turned it on, but it only lasted a few seconds. I like the fact that you can adjust the temperature . I also like the option to set the timer to the "Stay On" setting, for slow cooking. Make sure to turn the timer knob counter clockwise to get to the "Stay On" position. Don't try to force the dial to go past the 60 minute setting. The timer is very accurate. I cooked a medium sized chicken, and there was room to spare, as you can see from the photo, (attached). I wanted to attach a picture of how neatly it stores away in my cupboard, but you'll have to take my word for it, as I couldn't seem to attach more than one photo. Luckily, I have big cupboards, because this thing is huge! My chicken came out perfectly cooked. It was juicy and tender. The rotisserie motor worked perfectly. I can't really speak to the versatility, as I only cooked one chicken, so far, but I tested the heating elements in both configurations, and in different modes and it worked fine. I've even seen a picture where one element was horizontal and one was vertical. I find the ability to manipulate the heating elements very interesting. That is sure to be useful. I read that a few people thought that this model oven was top-heavy. I agree it may be tipped over easily, if you have a small child, or a michievous cat. That being said, I believe it's perfectly safe, unless acted upon by an outside force. I certainly wouldn't pass up this great bargain, because of a high center of gravity. I just took a little strip of cardboard from the packing material and made a little wedge to place under the front of the oven to make sure my cat doesn't accidentally knock it over. If you look close at the photo I attached, you can see how easily the high center of gravity can be neutralized. One more thing worthy of note is the ease of cleaning. It cools down very quickly, and can be wiped down with a damp paper towel in seconds. All in all, I would recommend it to anybody in the market for a versatile space saving appliance that makes a great addition to your kitchen. It could replace many of your other appliances. It's fun to use, and I feel is well worth the money.

Overall a good product. Somehow it is smaller than I expected. It may seem small but still have enough space to make regular size pie. The rotisserie function works pretty well. I took out a star for one down size I noticed so far, that is the temperature does not seem to work correctly.

I absolutely love this product. It works perfectly. I appreciate not having to turn on the big stove oven. I've baked chicken wings, bacon, etc. Any and every food I would bake in the big oven this Nutrichef oven has baked to perfection. I love the large glass door that allows me to see the progress of the food I am baking. Air fryers are not for me even though they have the baking element, just doesn't bake like an good old fashioned oven. It heats up quickly, it has all the necessary controls to bake the food the way I choose. I don't have to keep pulling out a drawer to check the progress of my food. Thank you Nutrichef, you are a blessing to this household.

This is a piece of garbage. The first one I purchased arrived with the door handle broken off so I had to return it to Amazon. The second one arrived, door handle intact, so I thought we were good to go. Prepped meat (tacos al pastor) to put on two days in advance to marinate and was ready to load it up with lots of company coming over. That's when I found out that the spit is too short by about 1/4 inch. It does touch the pan that sits in the spinning part of the rotisserie, however it's not long enough to "lock in" and actually turn. I have seen other reviews and questions that say the same thing, so it's not just the one I have. It's a definite manufacturer's defect. What's more, although they are usually great, in this instance Amazon is just as much at fault for still selling this piece of crap. If they actually READ the reviews and the questions on their own site they'd know this was an issue. Don't bother with this unit - unless you plan to use it strictly as a little oven in which case it likely works fine. Since that's not the reason I bought it, I haven't tried to use it that way.

I gifted this to my mom for her birthday because she is gluten free and doesn’t trust stores enough to eat their rotisserie chicken. Now she can make her own at home, along with a variety of other things as well. This product was inexpensive, easy to use and understand, and was overall perfect. I only have good things to say and I’ve included a pic of our first rotisserie chicken made at home. It was cooked perfectly (I like mine a little extra crispy so that’s why it looks burnt in some places) and didn’t take much time at all. The chicken came out moist and juicy. If you want extra juicy chicken, it has a tray to catch juice at the bottom that you can use to baste the chicken if you would like. It does smoke a little when you first use it but otherwise, it has no issues at all. Next up is kabobs 🤤

It worked OK, but it was just too tall for my kitchen counter and I could not set it up properly away from stuff because it was too tall. I returned it.

Having stopped using it

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Mini-Backofen. Er heizt schnell auf und backt gleichmäßig. Perfekt für Pizza, Brötchen oder kleine Aufläufe. Die Größe ist ideal für meine kleine Küche. Für den täglichen Gebrauch absolut ausreichend. Würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen.

Me gusto mucho,tiene complementos para rostizar y funciona muy bien. Asa, rostiza y hornea, tiene temporizador de 60 min pero puede aumentar y volver a girar la perilla si es necesario. No trae instructivo pero es intuitivo, tampoco trae recetario pero ayudan los videos de YouTube y las reseñas previas. Muy buen producto 👍

J’avais besoin d’une rôtisserie , nous faisons régulièrement des poulets frites en famille , nous avons été pour les périodes de fêtes chez des amies où nous avons manger une viande cuite dans cette rôtisserie. La viande était délicieuse , le goût était incroyable donc nous décider d’investir nous aussi , et nous sommes ravis de ce produit . Une super qualité , Facile à installer et désinstaller , très facile à nettoyer et entretenir . La viande est bien cuite en douceur ! C’est un four à multi fonction , convection et grill avec un minuteur et même un thermostat une belle cuisson uniforme c’est un super four à rôtir . Peux aussi servir de four de table . Il a une belle et grande capacité un joli désign . Super pour des repas savoureux . Je recommande vivement .

so far so good, makes a great roast

Cette année, nous avons cuit notre poulet de Noël dans ce four ! Il était délicieux : tendre et juteux à l'intérieur, croustillant à l'extérieur. Les résistances étant situées sur les côtés, il est très pratique de cuire des plats ou des biscuits à différents niveaux. Tout est cuit uniformément et parfaitement réussi ! J'apprécie de pouvoir combiner cuisson horizontale et verticale dans un seul four. Il est beau et moderne, mais je l'ai installé sur la véranda pour gagner de la place dans ma cuisine.
