Gets the job done
We have a French bulldog puppy who is a runner. Every time we opened the back gate he would appear as if out of thin air and take off. He had been staying on the property but then one day he decided to go all the way up to the busy street. A slide-into-third type maneuver (and ruined jeans and a bruised leg and arm) finally stopped him before he crossed the road. With our hearts in our throats and pounding (from both fear and the exercise after two months of stay-at-home sitting around and eating) we sat down to research a way to keep the little bum from running again. The other reviews state that this will not keep animals in - perhaps not a large strong dog but three sections together with a weight on one end keeps my 30-lb Frenchie in. (And boy, was he mad the first time he "escaped" after we assembled it!) Speaking of the assembly and the feet, assembly was a breeze - super easy and fast. As for the feet, they are not attached! They slide into the post. That's a drag because we do need to move it to get in and out. (Hey, Zippity, please make a gate for these!) Overall I recommend. For our needs they are perfect.

Great product, fast customer service, will purchase more
I’d been finding it impossible to locate a pet gate wide enough for our front porch to keep my cats in. Even the expensive ones were too short, not wide enough, not good looking, cumbersome to move to allow the humans access... so glad I happened across this product. Yes, it is vinyl plastic so it will blow over if not secured. This is obvious. We have it secured to the posts with bungee cords. The metal feet have holes that tent stakes would probably work with or you could use weights or sand bags to help from blowing over, although we haven’t tried either yet. I plan on ordering another for a wide opening off the back deck to keep the kitties in and we’ll also use the fencing for our food tent business to form lines or block off eating spaces. Also, the product arrived missing two pickets (pretty sure that was the carriers fault as it was delayed/almost lost in transit and the end of the box appeared damaged then taped). I emailed the company and they had them in the mail with a tracking number the following day, arrived a few days later and all is well. Oh yeah, and it looks fantastic!

It's a decent temporary fence.
The one of two that I'd ordered which Amazon managed to actually get to me is fine. The process of building it was simple enough. I added some glue to keep it together. It is very lightweight and so a gust of wind can take it down. You will likely need to put something on the feet in order to hold it in place. Or under the feet if it's an uneven surface.

Excellent fence for its intended purpose
This is a well-constructed, lightweight, attractive fence for its intended purpose - primarily to provide a visual or psychological barrier. What I mean is that it won't stop a strong animal from getting through. But when our fence was damaged by a strong, determined animal, the customer service from Zippity Outdoor Products was outstanding in helping me recover from an issue that was no fault of their own. In the attached pic of my own application, I connected two with U-bolts with nuts to make the joint a little more secure than the decorative white unthreaded U-bolts provided with the fence. I left off one of the foot braces because there wasn't enough clearance in the installation location. We just pick up the fence and move it like a gate to open and close it, because it's very lightweight.

Safety for toddlers
We have 3 girls ages 1 to 3 and we bought three to go in front of our garage. Was excited about finding this product and use it to provide a barrier when we open the garage to expand the play area to the outside a bit. PROS: - easy to build - good height for kids as they grow - looks good - flexible configurations - light weight to move CONS: - WORST problem, our toddlers are determined and can bend the slats and crawl through - a little "wobbly" - connectors need securing between gates - slats securing mechanism breaks easily (2 can slide out easily now) AND you are not sent any extras and no way to buy extra slats! :-( CONCLUSION: Good enough product. Achieves goal to expand play area temporarily but you must be present to monitor your toddlers (as all parents would be anyway, right ) :-) We need more operational use with the toddlers. But might not be worth the winter storage (unsure) and if we could easily return them, probably would get our money back.

Exactly what I needed. Sturdier than expected.
UPDATED So it has been over a year and the fence has held up amazingly. Survived through all the snow and wind of a Chicago winter, and we got a lot of snow this past winter. Impressed with how well it has held up that I recently bought another one for the other side of the space. -------------------------------------------------- Much sturdier than I was expecting after reading other reviews. Needed a fence to keep my puppy from running over to the neighbors on a connecting terrace. Originally used a wooden dog gate/fence that disintegrated after 3.5 months of rain and strong winds (i.e Chicago spring). My dog doesn't really jump on the fences and is not left outside unsupervised, so really only needed something that would provide a visual and psychological barrier more than it being a strong physical barrier. Despite the item not being for pet use, decided to purchase after people said that it held up year-round and another review that said they used it to keep their dog in their garage/driveway. Came well packaged with all the parts. Had to use a hacksaw to shorten it to fit the space but put it together by myself in less than an hour. Weighed it down and tied it to some cinder blocks and used vinyl fencing brackets that are attached to the concrete walls with 3M outdoor tape to make the top of the fence more stable. It is definitely sturdy enough to keep my mini aussie puppy contained and seems pretty stable when I push on it. But will have to see how it holds up to the windy weather. Will update on how it holds up.

Flimsy junk
Not much to say, these might make a good fence to put around your daughters Fischer Price playhouse. The wind actually flops these around... and they are bolted to the cement!!! Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Update Nov 22, 2023: Bought these in May, 7 months ago. It is in a back yard completely sheltered from wind by high retaining walls on all sides. After 1 month I had to re-inforce all the pickets with stainless steel screws and it still fell apart. Spent 335.00... they are completely destroyed by slight wind, sun, small dog ate 3 of the pillars. Now spending more money to replace with a redwood fence I should have done in the start. I can't express enough how bad these fences are.

Absolutely perfect
This worked for what we were needing to make our pool safe from baby. We bought the weights to help hold it down. It seriously only took 15 minutes to assemble each panel. We bought 3.
