Make sure you remove all styrofoam supports before you try and use this machine!!! If you’re looking for a cheap reliable washer this is definitely what you want. If you don’t mind a tad bit bigger washer then I suggest you go check out your nearest Home Depot and Lowe’s for washers on clearance because I seen a whirlpool brand 4.8 cubic top loader for $475 which was really nice I would of bought that instead but I bought this first also I don’t know if the sink would work for the whirlpool so it is what it is. This black and Decker works with the sink which is why I went with this because my apartment doesn’t have a washer setup. So far so good with this washer it holds a good amount of clothes and being in an apartment with neighbors to the left, right, and below it’s great that this machine is quiet. When it’s on full speed spin which would be the loudest point for this washer you can’t hear it if your in the next room, also if your using a dolly to move the washer around you can put a shock resistant pad on the dolly and it will help even more with lowering the vibration and sound. As for the size it’s bigger then I thought it would be it’s about the same size as a regular washer it stands about 3ft tall out of the box but you can make it a little taller if you’d like. It’s still a good enough size to where you can tuck it away so it’s not taking up a lot of room which I like and if you put it on a dolly it super easy to move it around. It washes towels with ease and they come out super clean and if you use sent beads it’s really makes the clothes and the room smell very good you can smell it coming through the washer the sent on the clothes really POPs with this washer I’m not sure why but it’s way better then other washers I’ve used. I also love how you can mix and match different kinds of wash settings to how ever you want which not many washers do with other washers you kind of just get what they give you. Also keep in mind if you press the program button and it goes down the list of quick, bulky , normal and delicate the more you press the button you’ll notice the light starts to blink which means the settings on the left, So solid light is settings on the left and blinking light is settings on the right. As for how long this washer will last I believe it can last 10 years with no breaking down and if anything breaks on it I think it would be super easy and cheap to fix because I looked on the inside and the mechanism looks super simple and I don’t think it would be hard to fix plus black and decker has professionals that will come out and fix it. It also depends on how you treat it too if over load it you’ll probably get less time out of it but if you load it so there’s less strain on the motor it should last a long time. I like how the clothes come out nice and dry after the spin cycle so if you don’t have a dryer it doesn’t take much to get them fully dry. I also like the drain hose because it drains fast without the hose moving or falling and the water goes down the sink drain with no problems, I can have a bunch of dishes in the sink and the water has no trouble draining or filling up the sink. Also keep in mind it’s filling from a sink so it’s best to let the washer fill up half way before you put the clothes in so the clothes don’t soak up the water at the beginning making the fill take a lot longer. Over all great buy im very happy I bought this machine if anything changes I’ll update my review but I definitely recommend this washer and I also recommend the Comfee brand washer and Comfee brand portable dishwasher, if you need a portable dishwasher the comfee brand is amazing I’ve had mine for 4 years it works like new every time I use it and it runs and drains using the sink as well.

I ordered this Black+Decker 3.0 Cu. Ft. Washer and when it arrived, I immediately got buyers remorse because it looked so huge but I unboxed it anyway figuring if the measurements were correct, it should fit. The measurements were correct but I couldn’t get it into my bathroom or hall closet. What I didn’t take ito consideration was that because of the depth of the doors, the washer needed to go past them at an angle which just wasn’t able to happen. I thought that I was stuck with it because there was no way I could now drop it off at an authorized Amazon return facility. But I called Amazon anyway and they were amazing. They set up a home pickup for 3 days later and instructed me to leave it outside on the day of the pickup. That same day the money was returned to my original payment method. In the meantime, I ordered the same washer just one size smaller in the 2.0 Cu. Ft. Version and it is perfect! By far the best washer I’ve owned. Thus far, I’ve washed at least 10 loads of laundry over the past couple of weeks and I’m very happy. The washer can fit a lot more items than I thought it would be able to so this 2.0 is more than I needed in the first place. It is extremely quiet even when spinning a load of towels. I live in an apartment so I was concerned but my neighbors said they haven’t noticed anything different. One neighbor said she just thought I was running my dishwasher more often because it sounded the same. I ended up getting both a longer water intake and drain hose but for the additional $30 cost, the total price with the cost of the washer was still a great price. I would have paid twice the amount for the convenience and time savings, and price I’ve been paying at the laundromat. My clothes seem so much cleaner and this washer spins so well that they feel almost dry as I’m putting them into my new dryer. Highly recommend! ** I was suspicious at first BUT THIS WASHER PROVED ME WRONG*** I live in an apartment 2 bed 1.5 bath. This washer fits perfectly inside of .5 bath and the closet that I store it in. It was bigger than I thought, but it fits my queen sheets and queen comforter in it perfectly. The settings are amazing for this washer. If you need to pause it and accidentally hit the off button, the sensor in the washer knows not to overfill it. It will start from the beginning is the only thing. The water hook up to the sink adapter fit perfectly (it is included with the washer.) If you are worried about this I would run to your local hardware store, its pretty easy to find another adapter. You can use cold or warm water with cold water hose. You don’t even need a hose to fill it, you could use jugs of water but you have to fill it until the sensor tells you there is enough water. It makes the same sounds as a normal washer. It’s not too loud. The washer rings out the clothes really well. Literally the exact same as a normal size washer. I got to 2 year protection plan just in case but I have no leaks as of right now. The lint trap is really useful. It catches so much lint. (I have two dogs) If you are worried about your sink clogging you can always put a panty hose at the end to catch the extra security but the water is clear with no lint every time I observed it draining. Just make sure your drain is not slow flowing because it pushes out a lot of water at one time. You could drain it in the toilet or a tub rather than a sink. I highly recommend buying a dolly. It is very heavy for one person to move round the house. I wouldn’t leave this washing unattended due to the drainage hose. Just make sure something heavy is propped up on top of it or you tape it down when in use. Also, the plug is a three prong plug. Don’t worry that you are keeping the facet on the entire duration of the wash, the water does stop when not in use of the washers function. Overall I see me keeping this for a long time. Even if I were to move into another apartment, it is easy for me to hook up to a regular washer and dryer hook up. If you are having doubts about buying this, I wouldn’t. It is worth the money. It seems like it will last a few years. The money for laundry mat gets expensive it evens out in the end. You are able to do your own clothes in your apartment and not have to take extra trips. Plus there is always a risk people will steal your clothes at a laundry mat or even in your apartment building. I don’t notice a difference in my water or electricity bill. It’s that cheap! There is a sticker that comes with it that says how much it will cost. Igor the 1.6 and my estimate is 9 dollars for the year.

Years ago I found out about portable washers but at the time I had a roommate that disagreed on getting one because of our limited space but fast forward and I have my own place now and I purchased this and am so happy with this purchase! I have never in my life had the privilege of having a washer and/or dryer in my home. At first I was a bit distraught as the included attachment didn't fit on my bathroom faucet (its a weird faucet) I was able to purchase an adapter kit (which still didn't work with my bathroom faucet) but I found out that the right combo of 3 of the adapters put together fits on my shower hose just right and I've been able to do laundry that way, takes a few minutes to set up and I have it drain out into the shower tub which I think is better than the sink cause my tub has a hair/lint catcher already. But I'm fascinated by how this machine cleans my clothes so well. I have had it for a bit over a month now and recently purchased the Panda dryer and although I can't put all my clothes into one load it still saves me the hassle of lugging my stuff to the laundromat and spending $15-$30 every week. I have been able to wash all my clothes, jackets, throw blankets, bed sheets, large towels, small towels, even a thin comforter and even my bath mats! I use less soap and since its just me I no longer have to add laundry sanitizer which I did previously because of the shared machines at the laundromat, so there's more savings there! I also was able to purchase the dolly even though I leave the washer in my bathroom next to the tub (because its a rather large bathroom), its nice to be able to move it around when I need to mop underneath or to move it closer to the shower hose and outlet when in use. I keep up with the maintenance of the machine cause I want it to last for a long time so after every use I wipe it down make sure inside of the lid edge is all clean, I unscrew the little filter in the back and drain it and make sure its clean and I clean the inside of the drum lint filter as well as it gets FULL of lint and cat fur. Something else I found really helpful was because the machine is on the dolly it makes it way taller than my sink and tub so I had noticed at first that when I had the drainage tube set up over the tub and draining into the tub it would drain while also filling up and I thought that I got a doozy BUT in order for the drum to fill up you just have to make sure the drainage tube it set where its either higher than the machine or at the same level and not way down below the drum. Once I set it up in the tub that it was higher all was good and the drum was able to fill up properly. I did a lot of research before purchasing the machine like water usage, and that it barely uses any electricity and I watched a ton of YouTube video reviews of the same machine to see how they set it up and worked with it and made me more confident in the purchase since it was a bit of a bigger purchase for me. I did the same with the panda dryer and I've been happy with both. If it means not being at a dirty, loud and gross laundromat and I can do laundry in my home no matter how long it takes, I am happy. I would 100% recommend this machine, it arrived within 2 days, set up was easy, doesn't take much water and uses a minimal amount of electricity and does like a normal washing machine would do just smaller.

I wavered between giving this three or four stars… I’m honestly surprised that it is so highly rated, given the problems that it has. I was extremely disappointed when it started having issues after only a few uses. However I have been able to make this work for my needs. A little background on my situation, I live in an apartment on the 5th floor of a 120+ year old building with no elevator. The laundry room is in the basement, and very poorly maintained. I dreaded doing laundry every week with the task of hauling all my clothes, bedding, etc. up and down all the stairs, it was exhausting. The floor of the laundry room was always sodden, with muddy puddles, random trash on the floor that blew in from the outside. It was like an ongoing bleak joke on myself when I’d be pulling fresh, hot laundry out of the dryer, and some little sock or underwear would dismally fall into a dirty pool on the floor. After all that effort. Although I tried to be as careful and vigilant as possible when pulling clothes out of the dryer. The laundry machines in the basement are old and awful, and one day one of the washing machines stopped working with my wet clothes and detergent in it, so I reached my breaking point. I did some research online, multiple websites pointed to this model as a “best of”. The prospect of being able to do laundry in-apartment, no stairs, in a clean functioning machine…I could not wait to use this appliance. The delivery was fantastic, the Amazon delivery man surprised me by carrying the whole heavy package all the way up the stairs to my stupid apartment in the terrible humidity of summer - amazing! I was squealing with glee when it arrived. And the first three washes were great. I was delighted by the overall convenience, the compact size of the machine, the quietness, the dryness of the clothes after the spin cycle. I was able to do most of my laundry in three wash loads, which was awesome. I did the “Normal” Load Size - Medium with the regular settings for all three. I was singing the praises of this machine to my friends and family for days. I was saved from the awful basement laundry! What a relief. For reference, I set this up in our bathroom, which I know from reading the instructions is not ideal because of the humidity. It was our only option, because our kitchen sink has a pull-down faucet, and although I studied the detailed tips that another reviewer had for that sort of setup, it seemed a bit too complex for me. I envisioned the washing machine draining into the bathroom tub from the beginning, as it pulled water from the bathroom sink, so this is how I set it up. I will mention, there was a little confusion with the instructions for hooking up the faucet adapter, but I figured it out through trial and error. I simply put the drain hose into the bathtub over the side of the tub, and this worked. For the first three washes. It was a few days later that I went to do a fourth wash, and this time I put in a thin zip up sweatshirt that had a good amount of dog hair on it, as well as some tshirts and shorts. I’m not sure if it was the dog hair clogging the drain, or the weight of the wash, or the wash cycle I selected, I may have tried to do “Heavy” or “3-Large”, but something went wrong and it gave me the E1 error message. I quickly pulled everything out and tried to troubleshoot. I searched these reviews, I read the manual again. I tried blowing the drain to see if anything was blocking it, I cleaned the filter, there didn’t seem to be a ton of dog hair. I read a tip from another reviewer who recommended to do a cycle to clean the washer itself, which I believe had been the Rapid wash cycle. This turned out to be problematic, because I ran into a brand new issue where the water fill sequence was also now draining the water right into the tub through the drain hose, as it was trying to fill it at the same time. I was honestly devastated at this point, because I invested decent money into purchasing this machine, it had seemed to solve a serious everyday problem for me before. I started reading more critical reviews here about how hard it is to return, about people not receiving quality customer assistance from Black + Decker, and the technical problems with the draining and error messages. My heart sank. Thankfully there was a reviewer on here who explained the drain issue. They said that there is no drain valve in this machine, which would be a piece in the drain to help control the flow of water. It turns out that if you do not elevate the drain hose enough, there’s nothing to stop the water from running down through the hose if it is not elevated. So now the solve for this is…hopefully you have a large elevated sink to drain the water into, that you can also secure the hose to, so it doesn’t flail about and drown your space. Or, figure out a way to hoist up the drain hose in a deep basin, for me, this was still the tub. I ended up buying two heavy duty suction cup hooks here on Amazon, and attached those to the shower wall. The hooks hold the drain hose up high enough and securely enough to solve the drain issue. But as someone also pointed out in a review here, the lack of the drain valve and the requirement to elevate the hose, also puts pressure on the little pump to work harder. So eventually, it may be the pump that goes first on this machine. Try elevating your drain hose if you have similar problems - but I will also mention that as others have found, the programming on some of the other functions seems to be wonky. I exclusively only use Normal - Medium, because it works, and I’m not going to mess with it. I keep the loads at around 50-70% full on the drum without compacting the laundry to fit. I still don’t understand why the first few loads worked fine with the drain hose not elevated, but, whatever, it works like this for now. I also, like others, have purchased a little rolling dolly for it to sit on for portability. I don’t find the movement to be concerning on the Normal - Medium cycle, which is a plus. I have to give this appliance plenty of props for the ease it has created in my life for doing laundry in-apartment, but I also have to subtract points because it doesn’t function in all the ways that it probably should. The wash loads do turn out great, especially with the powerful spin cycle. Delivery was great.

I’m so happy I can do laundry again. This thing honestly works great. My washer should be fixed by the end of this month but I had over a months worth of laundry. I’m extremely sensitive to main brand laundry detergent with dyes and perfumes so I can not wash at a laundromat. This thing is saving my life! I’ve never been more excited about laundry. I love the extra rinse cycle. Also not sure why people are upset about it “not spinning enough” mine spins well and gets all my clothes extremely dry before finishing. Really enjoying this BLACK+DECKER Small Portable Washer 2.0 cu ft. I've had a B&D compact dryer (2.65 cu ft, you can read my review for that there) for awhile but hesitated to get the washer, wasn't sure how messy it would be, or how convenient the hookups to a sink would be. I have wood floors that aren't supposed to get wet. But glad I got this, it's very functional in a small place and so convenient to have a washer at home. I don't mind the procedure to move it into place and hook it up, and I don't usually spill a single drop of water. This 2.0 cu ft model is a really nice size, nice stainless steel tub with no center agitator, so lots of room. It holds about half to two-thirds of what a full size washer holds, without overfilling it. I fill it to a little below the plastic rim. It takes up to two dryer loads in my 2.65 cu ft dryer to dry a large load, whereas with a full size washer it takes three dryer loads. That's filling the dryer halfway per load, as instructed. Usually the second dryer load isn't quite halfway full. I bought the WEIBIDA Mobile Roller with 4 Locking Wheels dolly for it, which works great on a hard floor, can move it with one hand. Definitely good to have the four wheels that swivel versus just two. Wish they would just build such wheels onto this washer in the first place, as having to buy the dolly adds $30, but worth it if you're going to move it much. I lock three of the four wheels, because otherwise it will drift a bit. HOOKUP Hooking up to the sink is very easy. The included quick connect adapter fit my kitchen faucet, and I actually like the nozzle on it versus my old one, so it was an upgrade to my faucet. Then the pressure hose just clicks onto that. Very easy to attach and detach, no need to unscrew anything every time. No tools required, I just hand-tightened. (Or if you have washer hookups, you can connect both the cold and hot hoses instead of using the faucet - that's a more permanent setup which I don't use.) The drain hose works fine with a kitchen sink, I've never had it fall out or move around much. Can tape it in place if concerned. I have a twin stainless steel sink, and draining a large wash fills the one side of the sink to about two inches below full. I haven't needed to pause it during draining, the drain is just able to keep up. I bought LASSHSWA 2 Pcs Kitchen Sink Strainer Stainless Steel Mesh and Punching. I really like these, they too ended up being an upgrade to my sink. I use the punched strainer for normal use (much nicer than a normal strainer imo), and the mesh/screen one for laundry, which catches a little more lint. Easy to clean when the wash is done, and that way not much lint goes down the drain. I turn the faucet on full hot, then do a cold wash (since the cold washer hose is the one that connects to the faucet). So the washer thinks it's a cold wash but really it's a hot one, or whatever temp you set the faucet to. By the time the water gets into the cold washer, it's not really hot anymore, so hot works well, and hot rinse makes drying go faster. Hot water gets clothing much cleaner imo, even for colors. It's really just warm by the time it's in there. When the wash is done, I turn off the faucet, disconnect the hose and use a little bucket to let the water drain out of the hose, just a little comes out. I keep a washcloth handy to catch or wipe up drips. That way I can store it without any dripping on the floor. I curl the pressure hose on the back and hold it in place with the electrical cord. The drain hose has a little hanger and doesn't drip, only the bottom of it holds any water after the wash is done. Then I roll it on the dolly back to its storage location, very easy. I leave the lid open to let it dry. In general I like to keep an eye on it while it's running, especially during the fill and drain cycles, to make sure the hoses are secure, and also during spin to make sure it's balanced. FILTERS There are two filters in the washer. The one is a lint trap inside the tub which needs to be cleaned every few washes. It's easy to check, basically a little bag inside a plastic holder. This seems to catch most of the lint such that the sink strainer has little in it. The other filter is the pump filter at the bottom of the back, which unscrews. Place a baking tray under it because a fair amount of water comes out (maybe a cup or so), and loosen gradually because it gushes a bit. I checked the pump filter after a few washes but it was completely clear. Unscrewing this filter also removes excess water in the bottom of the drain hose, which is important if you ever need to store the washer where it may freeze (which they don't recommend). ASSEMBLY The washer arrives in a box with straps, making it possible to be lifted and moved by one reasonably strong person. Cut the straps and the top of the box lifts off the base. The washer sits on a stryofoam base that extends up inside it to hold the tub during shipping. It must be lifted off the base. That's the toughest lifting part of it but not too bad, and there are side handles to grab it. Seemed well packed, arrived by FedEx without damage. I kept the styrofoam base in case I ever need to truck it. Then they tell you to lay the washer on its back on a soft surface (I used cardboard). There was some styrofoam debris inside the bottom which I vacuumed out best I could. Then a metal panel is installed to cover the bottom, held in place by a single screw. Then I assembled the dolly, adjusting it to fit the base of the washer, and leaned the washer upright directly onto it. Not heavy to lift that way. And that's it, the washer is up on the dolly and can be moved easily after that. CAPACITY I was easily able to wash a twin-size comforter. It's light enough, just bulky. I did a large normal cold wash (with hot water). I let it soak in there, and had to push it under the water a bit, but it spun fine and came out great. The compact dryer seemed overloaded with it, so I just air dried it with a fan, and fluffed it a bit by hand. Washing queen-size sheets and blankets are not a problem either, just mind the overall capacity limit. It seems to stop filling with water once a weight limit is reached. With heavier items there may not be as much water in it, but it's enough. It instructs you to use about half a normal dose of liquid detergent per large load. The way it agitates, it does move clothes around well, up and down below the water, even without a center agitator. I like not having that center agitator like a full size washer has. It makes taking the clothes out and moving them around in the washer much easier. Noise level is about typical for a washer, nothing extreme, but there is some noise and vibration. PROGRAMS The basic programs are summarized in a table in the manual. It's fairly simple to use, but takes a little getting to know its cycles and what behavior you will get, has a mind of its own. Personally I am a big fan of an extended soak time. I find modern washers are usually in too big of a hurry, and extended soaking is really what gets clothes cleaner, with less agitation needed. Excessive agitation also wears clothing out faster. Less wash time means less stress on the motor as well. It's usually overloading and overheating that kill electric motors over time, so I try to give the motor light duty. I tried a few different built-in programs, but eventually came up with my own routine, which takes a little more time, but is easier on the machine, and gets clothes very clean. You can add a soak cycle to the procedures. This adds a 20 minute soak before the wash, but I found it would agitate for 2 minutes, then rest 3 minutes, then repeat for the entire 20 minutes. That adds a lot of unnecessary agitation and motor use imo, versus a simple soak, so I don't use their soak cycle. The large normal cold wash seems to be the basic wash, but there is one issue I don't like with it. As mentioned in the manual, large normal cold adds very long rinse and final spin times (86 minutes of spin?) It does this because it thinks you're using cold water, so it tries to spin more water out for less drying time. But when using hot water from the faucet into the cold hose, and doing a 'cold' wash, this isn't really needed, but it doesn't know that. There is no way to override the spin times, except stopping it. Note that if you add a soak cycle in the procedure, then it won't use the longer spin times. So what I do is I start a large cold normal wash (with hot water), let it fill and agitate for a couple minutes. Then I pause it, and let it soak for one hour. Every 15 minutes, I unpause it and let it agitate for a minute or two, then pause again. Sometimes I need to reach in and push the clothing under the water, otherwise the water may not fully cover it. This method takes a little more time and attention, but I don't mind doing it. It gets the clothes very clean, with less motor use, less agitation. Otherwise the large normal will agitate for 13 minutes, which to me is excessive for most needs. This also lets me control how much agitation I want for a particular load, up to 13 minutes. Then after the one hour soak with intermittent agitation, while it's still full of water, I turn off the washer, and turn it back on (to reset it). Then I set it to large normal cold, and press the Procedure button several times until it shows rinse and spin. Then I start it. It will drain, fill, agitate 3 minutes, drain, and do a normal 7 minute spin (about 5 minutes of which is full speed spinning). This way it avoids the excessively long 86 minute spin. You can also add more spin time after that if you want additional, but I find that gets enough water out for the dryer. The clothes are slightly more wet than they are coming out of a full size washer spin cycle, but not excessively wet. And with the hot rinse water, they dry quickly. As I mention in my dryer review, I do a partial dry on the loads, then hang the clothes on bamboo drying racks. This fluffs them, and saves energy and motor use in the dryer. I also let the dryer rest for 30 minutes between loads, to let the motor cool. Hopefully this will extend its lifespan. Especially in a drier climate, they dry fine this way. Another option is to do a large delicate cold wash. In that case it uses the same 13 minutes agitation wash cycle, but it does shorter spin times, a 5 minute spin at the end (4 minutes of which is full speed). However, for normal clothing I found that wasn't quite enough spin time to get enough water out. So then one needs to add another spin cycle. Plus if you interrupt a spin cycle, it brakes fast, as opposed to spinning down gradually. I imagine this braking puts more stress on the machinery, so I prefer to let the normal spin cycle finish. One could also try a large bulky cold wash. Bulky adds 15 minutes soak and an extra rinse, but these can be turned off. Bulky includes a longer 9 minute spin time, per the manual. But since I like the shorter agitation cycle of my method, I haven't used this. Could also try Quick Large with an extra spin cycle afterward, but that is a 24 minute spin unless interrupted (with braking). While I was getting to know it, I timed the different stages it goes through. Those notes are included below. I like to know the times so I can check it at certain stages to make sure everything is okay, but I've done 8 washes so far with no issues, works great. I didn't fully time a large normal cold with the excessive spin times, because I never completed that. Note that fill times will vary with water pressure. Below is large normal cold setting, and I pressed Procedure button to add a soak cycle. Other times were the same except final spin. Clothes came out a little wetter than optimum, but dryable. Did about 4m of full spin with 1m slow spin and finish. And below is my routine where I interrupt the normal wash after a manual soaking pause, then do a rinse and spin, as described above. This is my favorite way to use it. It allows me to control how long it agitates (up to 13 minutes), how long it soaks, and then it does the rinse and spin without excessive spin times, and finishes without braking. That gets it fluffed and dry enough for air drying on racks. Or for smaller items, put them in a laundry basket and manually tumble them once in awhile until dry. While I haven't tried it, I think this washer could be run off of a sufficiently large solar generator, which is an interesting possibility. Same for the compact dryer. I really like this washer thus far, seems well-made and thought out, looks nice. I would prefer more manual settings of wash, spin and soak times, but my workaround above works great for me.

Was so excited to finally stop having to go to the laundry mat or use the awful washer and dryer in my complex. I was so worried about this purchase because of all the different reviews (damaged, or leaking, or making to much noise). I opened the box it was perfect, no dents on the washer like some people said happened to theirs. I got everything set up, it was super easy and comes with all the parts you need for your sink. I followed the instructions and did a test cycle with no clothes or soap. It filled up with no problem, nice and quiet, no loud noise and not leaking for the back hose. then when it went to empty the water, it started leaking everywhere from the drain hose at the bottom of the washer. Turned it off in time so it didn't flood my bathroom but still took me 4 towels to clean up all the water. I looked at the hose and there were two holes in the drain hose. The hose is very thin and poorly made. For a $350 washer you would think they could make a sturdy hose considering it may be moving. (most people in apartments have to move the washer from the sink and store it somewhere else) And no I didn't damaged it or hit the hose against anything. It has been hanging on the side of the washer since I took it out of the box. If it was as simple as just buying a better hose the same size and fixing it myself, I would have. But the hose goes inside the washer and I am not going to risk damaging anything inside the washer. I started the return process today, it was super easy. Amazon sends someone to your house to pick it up for free so you dont have to worry about trying to return it yourself. They give you options of a date and time to have someone come pick it up. You of course still have to wait for your refund until it gets picked up but the return process has been super easy.

I just moved into a new one-bedroom apartment with no in-unit laundry. The building has communal laundry machines on the bottom floor but I hate the idea of using dirty machines to clean my clothes, having to wait for clothes or running the risk that someone may steal it. Even just paying for each load can turn out to be expensive. So I knew I wanted to a portable washer, and a high-end one at that since my lease doesn’t allow portable washers. I needed something that was good quality and silent. This machine has proven to do exactly what I needed. Yes it was a little more than what I was hoping to spend - but the peace of mind it gives me is well worth it to me. I can run multiple loads, in the comfort of my own unit, at any given time, and not have to worry or spend any more additional money. The tub itself is pretty big. I purchased the 2.0 size and I can fit my queen bed sheets in there, as one single wash but it’s still nice to be able to do that. I also purchased an adjustable rolling dolley that I placed under the washing machine to sit on. The machine itself is quite heavy ranging from 50-65 lbs (I don’t have a scale) and it is a struggle to move it from its living location in my house to the kitchen sink. This tray makes this task mindless and super easy and convenient. Other than that, installation was very quick and easy. My first few loads have been a huge success and I am thrilled with my purchase.

Works great and can fit the same size load as my apartment shared laundry. Does an excellent job of cleaning my clothes, and as we have a little one, the flexibility of doing laundry in our apartment instead of going down 3 flights of stairs is a game changer. With the cost of doing laundry in my building, it should pay for itself in about a year

I’ve had this for a year. I am still as obsessed with it today as I was on day 1. I’m only writing a review to help people because there are so many options. I did a ton of research because I didn’t want anything too expensive but also didn’t want a cheap one. I landed on this one and I have zero regrets. It’s pretty quiet and we’re in a one bed apartment, cleans well and can clean all my clothes. I love it so much I sometimes just stand over it and watch the clothes whirl around getting cleaned. Also light enough to move around. 10/10 I would recommend.

Haré una reseña con funcionamiento o usos. Apenas la tengo por 3 días y ya la usé 7 veces. Eso sí, tardó casi un mes en enviarse (Amazon Internacional Standard) desde la fecha de compra. Aproximadamente 20 días. El envío sólo fue de 2 días. Las medidas de profundidad contando la manguera de desagüe es de 48cm, la medida de ancho con espacios laterales recomendados es de 45cm y la altura es de 78cm. Es decir, una ves que la abres y sacas de la caja, es muy bonita y da ternura por lo compacta. Pero esa es su ventaja. Las cargas habituales que realice fueron de : 15 boxers talla M, o 5 a 7 playeras talla M o G, o 2 pantalones de mezclilla talla 32. No la llenes a más de 3/4 de ropa seca. Detergente se recomienda usar los que tienen el logo "he" high efficiency (alta eficiencia). En mi caso recomiendo el detergente mexicano "Newen" de venta también en Amazon. Ya que es biodegradable y concentrado (alcanza a lavar bien con una a tres cucharadas 10 a 30ml) en lugar de los detergentes comerciales que usas tapas de más de 100ml. Aún así en las instrucciones se recomienda usar la mitad de lo que dicen los envases. En cuanto a ruido, es muy silenciosa incluso durante el centrifugado. Respecto a las conexiones, los aditamentos con los que viene, fueron suficientes para conectarla a la llave del lavabo. Viene con dos gomitas dentro de la conexión rápida. Dependiendo si es para rosca interna o externa se pone o se quita el empaque superior. La manguera del desagüe, TIENE QUE ESTAR POR ENCIMA DEL NIVEL DE AGUA DE LA LAVADORA, es decir, si la dejas en el suelo, jamás se va a llenar. Tiene varios modos de lavado. Únicamente el modo Pesado (Heavy), Gentil (Gentle) y Remojar (Soak) te dejan modificar todos los parámetros de lavado. El modo Normal y Rápido sólo permite cambiar nivel de agua y número de enjuagues. El lavado (Wash) se puede seleccionar hasta 20min, se pueden seleccionar hasta tres enjuagues (Rinse) y hasta 9min de centrifugado (Spin). Cualquiera de estos tres parámetros se pueden omitir al dejarlos en 0. El modo rápido tarda 15min y el modo más tardado 88/90min. El atrapa pelusa en verdad funciona. No tengo ninguna queja al respecto. Si acaso el tiempo de envío y el costo que se paga por importación (va incluído en el precio). Si esta lavadora se vendiera en México costaría $1,200 pesos menos es decir entre $5,500 a $6,100 pesos. Que bien lo valen. En verdad recomiendo la lavadora. Como extra les recomiendo comprar un codo a 90° para la manguera de llenado y quede más cómoda la conexión en la lavadora. Haré actualización al mes o 3 meses, a ver qué tal va. Ha pasado un mes, y todo funciona perfectamente, igual que el primer día. El modo de lavado "Pesado" es mi favorito, el cual personalizo en cada lavada. Recomiendo usar jabón Persil.
