As always, not exciting but a solid guide. Very helpful with just the right amount of details to help us walk through the lovely towns of Sicily. Also enjoyed the historic background which provided excellent context for what we were seeing.;

Great overall guidebook
Great overall guidebook. We are more interested in the sights and history, altho it still gives some lodging/restaurant suggestions. We chose this because we can get those types of suggestions online, and the we can carry the book with us throughout our trip for ideas, even when we are not near wifi...

THE BEST FOR DETAILS & FACTS
Still the best for giving u detailed information on the sites u visit. Very detailed. My only complaint is their lodging recommendations, which I don't think are very good. And u will probably want another guidebook to supplement the Michelin, which by the way will stay up-to-date for years.

Great resource for traveling
Great resource for traveling. Especially like how it highlights things to see between cities and day trips. Was a must have for our 2-week trip around Sicily.

Great guide for the serious traveler
This guide is the best you can hope for if you take traveling seriously. Instead of rambling on about the options for shopping and nightlife, this book, like all Michelin Green Guides, provides a detailed and spot-on description of the sights. If you want to spend two weeks on the beach enjoying coctails and take only a day or two to visit the most important sights, buy Lonely Planet. However, if you wish to look around and see as much you can, the Green Guide is your best choice. The tone is informative rather than entertaining, but hey, it's a travel guide, not a script for a comedy.Two things that I like most are 1) the clear and informative maps, and 2) the star rating system of the sights.
