Best night time mouth guard
I've read the reviews and decided to take a chance and I'm glad I did. This really is the best mouth guard. Thinner is better because thinner means more comfort. I've tried a professional dentist $600 guard and other store bought ones. They are all too bulky and uncomfortable. They force your mouth open and you'll wake up in a puddle of drool if you get any sleep at all. This guard only took a short while to get used to and I fell asleep right away. It's true that getting it fit is a little tricky but I think most people didn't follow the directions. Water should be between 160 and 170F. That's not boiling, so please don't toss it into a pot of boiling water. Get a thermometer and measure then transfer the water into a shallow bowl and put the guard inside. If you overcook it, it will be too floppy and harder to use. The guard will go from white to clear then it's ready to fit. It's hard to make perfect, but it doesn't have to be. It just needs to be comfortable, so don't look at it too closely. As long as your molars aren't in contact and it's comfortable, call it good. It's not super expensive so please try it out. You'll be glad you did.

Waste of money.
I was hoping for a comfortable, easy to mold guard. This product is neither of those things. Be aware that you have to tear open the package in order to get the guard out. This means you will likely tear through the directions. I was able to piece the packaging back together but after several tries to mold the guard, I gave up. The firmed up guard was very hard and uncomfortable.

Works for adults with braces!! Remoldable, thin, and easy to use!
The SOVA Aero Night Guard has been the only night guard that's worked for my night grinding now that I started using braces. I tried 4 different night guards and SOVA's is super thin, easy to mold, and most importantly for someone with braces, you can re-mold it many times! What's so cool about this night guard is the plastic technology and that it starts off flat. Other night guards I tried with my braces couldn't fit around them, were super thick, or could only be molded once. With braces, my teeth move constantly - sometimes daily. The SOVA guard can be fully re-molded with just a few seconds in hot water, or I learned I can just get a small portion of it wet and re-mold parts of it.Another thing is that it is super thin compared with many other night guards, and it grips to fit your teeth so it's not falling off at night. You can breathe with it and swallow fairly naturally, way better than others. One thing to be cautious of: for braces users, don't leave the guard molding the first time you mold it for the full 8-10 minutes it says, I sucked for too long and the guard wrapped around my braces LOL. It literally got stuck to them. Mold it for less time and don't press your lips so tightly, play with the guard so it doesn't mold around or into the braces. Other than that, you'll be golden.I highly recommend this night guard for any adult with braces!! It has stopped my jaw pain, what a massive relief, and all for an affordable price!

Time will tell
Broke side front lower bottom tooth because I am grinding my front teeth of all ones. I have a dentist night guard that is heavy duty but I wanted a lighter one to wear while watching tv in case I fall asleep on the couch. I like the holes and the comfort of it. I unfortunately have a a gap on the back of one side and don’t want to remold because of material fatigue but I think it actually is a happy accident because that’s the point I bite down on and it keeps me from clenching the front teeth. I really don’t see this as lasting long but given it’s just a preventative measure in case I nap on the couch and the relatively low cost I am happy.

Effective But Can Be Difficult to Mold
I like the idea behind Sova Aero, but didn’t find it to be the best pick for me.Likes: Thin fit, remoldable, ability to drink while wearing, feels sturdy.Dislikes: Had trouble fitting—the process is simple, but because it is so thin, it’s more difficult to keep stable while manipulating into place and waiting for it to set. I had to redo the process multiple times because it would end up too high at the gum line for comfort on one side or there would be bubble-like protrusions at the upper edges due to compression from folding. This was particularly uncomfortable as a side sleeper given the stiffness of the guard.Tips: You can cut short the setting process by carefully drinking a glass of ice water after the initial shape is made. I’d also take care to not suction too hard—stated in the product photos but not the instructions, as far as I recall—or fold the guard too tightly against the back of the teeth, if at all. It may be due to alignment issues with my teeth, but the snug fit left my teeth sore after extended wear.I’m returning to the cheap, thick, soft molds LE guards because they “melt” into the spaces around the teeth more easily. Perfect alignment may prevent some of the issues I experienced.
