I have a 19 foot Yamaha jetboat. It was ...
I have a 19 foot Yamaha jetboat. It was either between these or the seablazeX. I ended with these to save $200 for the pair. Any concerns I had about the light output were dismissed once I got the boat on plane at night. Anything brighter would be to much for my size boat even in muddy waters. If your just going to be at idle on a larger boat then maybe you need something brighter but once your on plane the light output is 10X greater. I will say though they tend to draw a lot of power 5amps for a pair I believe. My boat only has a stator and I believe the stator doesn't keep up with charging while the lights are on. I have a house battery so I won't get stranded but now I have to charge my house battery when I'm done for the night.

How to power your dinghy with a light drive
All that it's cracked up to be. Incredibly bright in the water of the Chesapeake Bay (western shore). I've been dying to install these on my Silverton 410 but haven't had the chance yet. But, being that we just got a new dinghy I had an excuse....Installed on our 10' APEX Inflatable this light make it seem like the boat is powered by photons. Up on plane we have a crazy blue wake that trails off further than the boat is long. It's serious overkill. Gotta love it. I upgraded the starting battery to just about double our amp hours. With the Honda 15hp, I can always manually start it if I forget to turn the lights off. On a full charge the light should stay lit for at least 30 hours without charging. Only thing that bugs me is that I couldn't center the light on the transom because of the drain plugs. Oh well, it's excuse to install another one.

Very bright in the water!
If you're thinking of adding underwater transom lights to your boat, the SeaBlaze 3 won't disappoint! These lights are very bright, and draw very low (all things considered) current from the batteries in the bilge. If you have a decent battery bank, you can run these lights for a few hours and not have to worry about low batteries or starting your generator. We have four of these in blue mounted on a Sea Ray 320 DA, and we are very pleased with the color, water penetration and brightness. If we had to do it all over again, we might have put just one more on the transom. Overall, though, quite pleased! 2019 Addendum: I now have a 340DA with 5 of the blue only SeaBlaze 3. I have 2 wired on one switch, and 3 wired to another, so that I can have 2, 3 or all 5 on at a time. With all 5, there is enough light to see and swim for 30-40 feet behind the boat in clear water. The switches are powered by my house batteries (2 group 27), and I can run them most of the night without having to worry about the house voltage dropping too low. Overall very happy with having SeaBlaze 3 under the water!

... these lights on a 29' Blackfin and couldn't be happier with the results
I installed 2 of these lights on a 29' Blackfin and couldn't be happier with the results. Lights up the wake 35' behind the boat on plane. I wish I ordered just the blue lights or just the white lights to get more output, but the variety is nice for aesthetics vs fishing!

They were fairly easy to install and instructions and templates made it easy
These really put out the light for night fishing. They were fairly easy to install and instructions and templates made it easy. Also, there are several videos on youtube showing how to install.

Lunitec Seablaze 3
I put two of these lights on my 32 foot boat and they look amazing. When purchasing these lights make sure you only get one color if not it divides the lums into two and will not be as bright

Best quality for price.
Its my second pair. I bought 2 few years ago at full price (380$ CAD each). It’s expensive but it’s the best quality for the price. Since years I tried many underwater lights. Cheaper ones are’nt bright anough, barely see them. And most of other lights in the same range of price are less brighter too.I needed a pair on my new boat, I was shopping since a couple months to see the best deal price/lumens when I saw the sesblaze3 at 285 I clicked bought 2 right away.
