It works
Does it's job - stops the door from banging.

Broke almost immediately
In theory this was ideal to stop a door closing/slamming shut. However, in practice, the rope handles appear just to be pushed into the main guard and almost immediately became detached. Don't bother with this item...spend a little more on something which will last longer.

Really useful to stop the door closing completely to allow enough room for our hound to get her paw round the door and come and go!

Does the trick
Arrived sooner than expected. Works fine. Stops doors “bumping” in breezes. It maintains a “gap” which should protect a finger/hand, or indeed a pets foot etc.
