Brilliant
Brilliant reel Smooth action This is my second one i use it with my shimano rod for pike fishing

Disappointed
Bought this reel on the back of being impressed with Shimano and the other products they make, including gear systems. This reel just didn't deliver for me, the line kept escaping into the inside gearing. I had to stop fishing and strip the reel down to unwind the line and rebuild. It was maybe me, but I use othet reels like Mitchell, etc. and dont have his problem. Not for me sorry.

It's actually so smooth compared to other reels I have. When you buy a reel we tend to keep it a long time. You won't be disappointed with this one. Micky

Lovey reel, but no spare spool for me!
For the price it's a nice reel, however I didn't receive a spare spool like the other reviews and 'answered question' suggests. This wasn't a big enough problem for me to return it (which is the only option) but I can't deny I am disappointed! Thanks,
