I’ve been searching for a dotted notebook for a while to start a bullet journal, but the only ones I found were either too expensive, had too few pages, or were just of poor quality. Although I don’t normally spend more than a couple pounds on a notebook I’m glad I spent a little more for this one. The cover is awesome and super soft, the index and numbered pages are useful, and I didn’t even realise the notebook contained a built in envelope for extra pages etc, which was a pleasant surprise as I had planned on trying to make my own. I was slightly concerned that my coloured pens would show through on the reverse side of the pages, impressively they don’t- unless I press down pretty hard, in which case you can see a faint outline. I’m such a stationary nerd and I am so in love with this journal, it’s just as good, if not better (depending on intended use) than paperchase journals. Thank you!

Quite like this notebook which I bought to use as a Bullet Journal. The cover is hardback, covered in vegan leather with a nice design, but the colour did not match the picture (instead of a light blue, a dark blue came). Inside, the book has all the attributes of a bullet journal - index page, page for legend/key, colour code, back pocket, dot grid, numbered pages (160) Paper quality is quite thick, it does not bleed into the next page - so beneficial if you are using wet inks/brush pens. My only concern is that the dots are too noticeable and dark. It really detracts from the point of having a bullet journal which is to be aesthetically pleasing to the eye, meaning the dots are supposed to be faint. 3 stars

I had been using a very cheap A5 book for my bullet Journaling and I was sceptical at buying a more expensive one but this book is totally worth it. The pages are really thick and I can't see anything that I've put on the other pages and I've done a couple since it arrived earlier on. There are two book mark ribbons which I'm sure will come in handy as my journal starts filling up. There is also an index page, a key section and a colour key section included. The thing I could possibly grumble about is the fact that the index page is literally one side but for me it's not enough to knock off any stars, for me it's just a matter if adding a second index page when needed and linking them up. I will definitely be buying a few more of these to keep me stocked up.

On my quest to find a perfect bullet journal, which doesn’t seem to exist, I bought this in desperation because a leichturm is awful and my second ‘scribbles that matter’ was equally as bad. Does a perfect journal even exist? All I ask for is thick smooth consistent pages, with feint, but lined up dot grids across open pages, with a pen loop and good binding. This just about gets there and for the price, which is good, I will use it as I have given up now. I give this three stars because the pages don’t easily open out flat, flicking through some dots don’t line up with the next page ( about 10% of the book) this will be irritating when doing a double page spread, so these pages will have to be avoided for that and used singly. The pen loop is very, very tight. The binding also seems tight. Also marked down as there only seemed to be one colour choice - blue ( I’m not a blue person) some pages were also creased with finger/thumb indentations, randomly throughout the book. The good points are the page numbering is large and the paper is smooth and thick enough to not ghost, which is important to me. It withstands tombow and also fountain pens...so would probably withstand most non alcohol based pens. I can use it happily...but dread the day I need to find another journal to continue.Edit after initial using: this is not suitable for bullet journaling as the dot grid version which I have, the dots are too noticeable and dark. It really detracts from the point of having a bullet journal, it’s supposed to be aesthetically pleasing to the eye and the dots are supposed to be for guidance and need to be feint. They take over the page. I’m deducting another star unfortunately as just not useable ( initially I gave this 3) My quest continues.

Bought a journal for myself and one of my children wanted one, so I got to work looking for something suitable. I chose this one based on how it looks, the price and the reviews. I am so happy I chose it because it really is lovely, the ink doesn't come through the back of the page like mine does, so its actually better than mine. I have ordered another for someone else, and will probably order one for myself when I need it. excellent value for money.

This was such a surprise ....a pleasant one at that .. I had bought and been very disappointed in a similar journal from a well known maker so wasn't expecting much from the purchase of this one to use as a crafter's note book ....It's brilliant .It feels good to handle and the cover is sturdy ...a good heft without being heavy .Inside the pages are thick ....did I say thick !!! Gorgeous with no bleed through to the page behind ( that's what so disappointed about the other really expensive journal I bought ) a pleasure to write on even on the left side .And it was really competitively priced .A pleasure to use every day .It lies flat when working and has two ribbon markers and a good strong elastic closure .Shame the entries aren't a bit more flamboyant and interesting !! But that's how I roll 😁Highly recommended

Nice journal. Good value for money. Pages thick enough to use most felt pens. No good for alcolhol markers though but wouldn't expect to for the price. My only small criticism is that it is a much duller blue than the picture. That could just be how it shows up on camera though so not sellers fault.

Also has a contrasting pen loop.Paper quality is quite thick - so probably beneficial if you are one to use wet inks/brush pens.A smart notebook that is well made, hard-wearing and nicely laid out.
