Are these batteries work well with m12 milwaukee brand? do they hold the charge? do they fit and release well on the tools or charger?

They work perfect on the charger. They hold a charge and work well in the tools. Runtime is 36% longer than my Milwaukee 4.0 battery. Fit & Release needs work. Waitley told me on Aug 25th, 2020 they will fix these issues: Fits my 2453-20 Impact Drill. Slightly loose. Release is good. Falls out of my 2530-20 Circular Saw. Reviewer John has similar experience. Considerable difficulty inserting and removing from my 2504-20 1/2" Drill. Reviewer Jack Z and Tom P have similar experiences.

Do the tabs that lock battery in place break easy?

I have not had the locks break but I have had them come loose while using the tool, I have to continue reinstalling the battery.

Will this battery work in heated vest

I don’t know how much power a vest use. This 6 Amps 12 Volts battery produce 72 Watts. You need to know how many watts per hour the vest you have in mind use. My use is for a Milwaukee converted to a sharpening grinder to sharp tungsten electrodes for TIG welding. The batteries are working nicely.
