I was conflicted because this is definitely not necessarily the best maiden form item I own, but for what I'm gonna use it for I think it's perfect. I'm wearing this over tights and under a dress for a dance performance and so far it is the thing that is the most comfortable and stays in place, not too thick, but not see-through… I can't give it anything except five stars and I'm gonna get another one. As far as Shapeware, I actually prefer the tank Cami that they make that has two layers and I feel like it doesn't much better job shaping, but this for smoothing and staying in place is perfect.

I was a little worried when I opened the package and held this item up in front of me. It is an XL and I am 5‘8“ tall 185 pounds. Usually shapeware this size cannot make it above my thighs lol! I was dubious that I would be able to put this on… However, I could! Out of the package it feels like a very strong fabric that wouldn’t stretch very much, and it does have very mild compression, but I was able to pull it on without the usual grimacing, sweating, grunting, giving up halfway experience!The boyshort legs go to about mid-thigh and there is no bulge below them where they end, which is oftentimes a problem. This gives a very smooth line from the bottom of the boy shorts up to the top of the garment. However, that being said, it does very little at reducing my tummy size. Which actually, is fine, because those that have that capability, I am unable to get on my body. So for this, it feels like a snug hug and it reminds me to actually engage my abs and help hold my own belly in. For someone who is more slender than myself, it probably would give a slight bit more compression. It is comfortable to wear and didn’t overheat me and helps clothes skim over it where there is a back fat crease. That crease still shows in the garment, but my clothing did not stick there.There is silicone grip material inside the leg hems from the mid-front, around the outer to the mid-back of the thigh. There is none on the inner thigh portions. I’m not sure about the reasoning for that. I did not have any problem with it riding up in that area so maybe it just isn’t needed in that section.The gusset opening is just large enough to void urine or do a tampon change, however, it does not extend back far enough to have a bowel movement. I will need to remove this garment completely for that purpose. If that is not an issue for you, then I fully recommend this. If you are someone who needs to fully eliminate, be ready to undress completely to do that.The straps are nicely adjustable in length and they have back hooks so that you can cross them for a convertible option. I like the feel of this fabric. It did not snag, and for all the right reasons, I give this garment four stars. I just took one star off for the size of the opening in the gusset area.

I was looking for a warmer weather bodysuit that would create smooth lines under my clothing. I have recently lost a lot of weight, and I need tummy control to pull in the loose belly skin I now have. Without shapewear, I feel like I look lumpy in the waist area. These provide just enough control to smooth out that apron area and they create a smooth look under more clingy garments. The nice material is breathable and comfortable with enough stretch to move with me. The legs have a nice grip to them so that they don't roll up or grip so tight that they create a bulge below the pant legs.This bodysuit is work well for me for my needs. I have hand washed and line dried these, and they dry quickly and come out perfectly with no shrinkage or loss of control. I ordered based on the info on the size chart, and they fit perfectly.

I recently tried the Maidenform seamless shapewear with tummy control in chestnut brown, size medium. The fit of the medium size was perfect, staying true to size, and the chestnut brown color was as expected. However, I found that this shapewear provided only light to light/medium support, (was actually comfortable) so without enough compression, it did not significantly improve my curves.One of the highlights of this shapewear is its design. The one-piece bodysuit with shorts is very helpful, especially as it has no seams, which is a feature most women would seek. The material itself is lightweight, making it comfortable to wear even in warm temperatures. This undergarment is also particularly useful under dresses, as it can help prevent the irritation caused by legs rubbing together in hot weather; the grips on the leg openings were also effective in keeping the shapewear in place.Overall, even with the many positives, without the compression and support, this doesn't offer what I was looking for in a shapewear garment.

I didn't know how I would feel about purchasing shape wear sight unseen, but the Maidenform Seamless Tummy Control Mid-thigh Bodysuit was everything that I was looking for. I like wearing these types of foundational wear in the summer for modesty and extra coverage since warm weather clothing can be thin, shorter in length or have more exposed necklines in clothing.This romper is very comfortable as it has cool comfort technology that ensures that you aren't pooling in sweat while wearing it. It is truly soft and seamless and the material has the perfect amount of compression and shaping while making sure that you can naturally move around. It is true to size and has an amazing stretch to it which is my preference. I like the fact that you can adjust and change the bra straps and that it's not a struggle to adjust anything. Even though it is a romper, I found that it was really easy to slip on and off while changing or using the facilities.I have purchased many pieces like this but this has lasted with me washing this on a gentle cycle and hang drying. There have been zero loose threads, pilling, snatches, or runs in this shape ware. It's functional and I will purchase it in black.
