Really pleased, the lamps look good, paired up with a pair of smart bulbs they look great. The included bulbs are nothing special but a welcome inclusion.One thing to note is that one corner of the lampshade has a dark strip where the material overlaps, so ensure this can be turned towards a wall out of sight.

I bought this bedside lamp after buying some nice products from Teckin which have good quality but was quite disappointed at this time.My first impression when I saw the bedside lamp was: such an ugly shade! The problem is that all the pics from the product and also reviews pics are of the product turned on, but not all the times it is gonna be on! And when it is turned off, the shade is really disappointing. But ok, let’s check it out I thought…I read in the reviews that one of the sides of the shade must be hidden due to a white stripe that appears when the lamp is on, but the problem is that the other side just came damaged from the factory! So well, now I cannot either hide the damaged side nor the stripe's side. Enough reasons to return. But ok, let’s turn it on and see how it goes…For my surprise, the finishing in the top is really bad. I wasn’t expecting that one, since from the pics in the reviews it seemed better.Returning the product, I would not recommend it.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This light is gorgeous and the price is a huge benefit.its on par to the look of an expensive lamp and the shades are brilliant with warm white light colour,it’s look much better lit than when off.The shade lets a lots of light through and it’s actually bright with normal bulb.the base is black not dark brown,when switch on cable does dangle a bitt,so it’s better turn position for bed use.the sizes might enough of space on a side table,although decent quality for the price..

I have literally just received the lamp and within 5 minutes returned it.On the positive side the lamp came with a bulb and it did work but there was no way to attach the shade apart from hanging it loosely on the bulb fitting. This meant the shade wasn't secure and wobbled around if you moved the lamp or switched it on. In my opinion not at all safe because the unsecured shade could easily topple the whole lamp unit over.

The build quality of this lamp is extremely questionable, even for £20. At the end of the day I've chosen to keep mine because I just wanted a basic desk lamp and this works nicely (I also can't be bothered to pack it all up and send it back). Upon opening it, I find that the fabric lamp shade had a lot of imperfections with exposed glue on the inside and the frame does stick out of the fabric in certain areas. The bulb is a wonderful LED that illuminates my room nicely. The encasing for the bulb however was crumbling when I got it out of the box. I would not have said it was knocked or dropped, but the material just didn't seem durable at all. After looking over this to make sure it was safe to screw to use, I found it all to be quite charming and the imperfections do become hard to notice when fully put together and switched on.

I've had my 1st Teckin lamp for quite some time now, so when I was looking for a lamp for my bedroom, I went with one I already know and trust.Obviously things can go wrong, so I won't comment on durability yet, but I've got quite a few Teckin products and I've never had an issue with any of them, so I don't expect anything to go wrong.It comes with a light bulb, but I had a different, colour changing one (also Teckin) that I wanted to use. Setting up the lamp and bulb using the Smart Life and Alexa apps actually took less time than it took to unpack the lamp and unwrap the shade. So quick and easy.It's a stable lamp, not at all wobbly, with a little weight to the base, so it won't get knocked over easily.The shade is plain cream linen and the base is silver metal. This is what I was expecting, despite the description stating the shade is beige and the base is black wood.I am 100% happy with this lamp and would happily buy another one. Definitely one that I recommend.I will update in the future, if it fails to meet my expectations.

These square ones are slightly better quality than their circular ones, they have more of a linen, cream tined shade. Overall I like the minimalistic shape and simplicity of these lamps. But for the warm glow displayed in the picture, you'll need to buy special gold tinted light bulbs. Without them it's just white, no ambience. I'd actually say the light bulbs I bought seperately are what made the lamp really nice, giving it that cosy warm glow - E27 Screw Vintage LED Edison Bulb 4W.
