good heavy duty for hone use
Used it multiple times, works great, easy ti use. I permanently attached a cheap, battery powered grinder so it's ready to go.

Item is as good as advertised.
I have been doing lawncare for over ten years for a living. Sharping lawn mower has always been a chore. This item does 2 important things for lawncare pros. First you get a repeatable process over and over again, making for consistence performance. Second an most important having a surface that has a correct angle so that you do not end up getting a rolled over edge that does not last very long. For best results try moving the height of the grinder around a few times to find the best depth and angle to get you the result you are looking for.

good product
Works as it should. Few little notes that I found. Must use a grinder with a side mounted on/off switch. If you use a grinder with a top mounted switch. You will not be able to turn on and off the grinder. Also It needs to have some mounting hole to securely mount the jig to you work station. The vibration will make the who jig slide.

Meh, it's OK.
I thought this would be the bee's knees when I saw it. First, I had to go find an angle grinder that didn't interfere with the mounting system. None of the two that I had worked. I can see this working really really well on flat blades. High lift and those with extra mulchers and what not seem to make keeping the angle a bit tough. If you were already sharpening with a 4" angle grinder and have any of those kinds of blades just keep doing what you were doing.

Is everything as advertized !!
I'm usually not one to review products. However, I will make an exception this time. After a very short learning curve with this product it has amazed me at the ease of making a normally frustrating task so easy. As we all know keeping that angle is not easy and a lot of us have become accustomed to doing these either on a bench grinder or angle grinder which I have done for several years. I can honestly say I had no idea how messed up those blades had become over several sharpening doing it that way. I wasn't that happy at first but found using the thinner discs as I had been doing isn't what you should use for this jig. I ordered two packs of the NEIKO Premium Zarconia 60 grit flap discs and it now works perfectly. The balancing tool included I kind of questioned as to it's accuracy as it didn't seem to be as free floating as it should be in my opinion. That problem was solved by simply putting some bearing grease on the tip and floats freely now. After using it once in my shop I now set it up outside due to the mess inside. Not a big deal, but I would suggest maybe working with this outdoors if possible. All in all, this has made a frustrating job so simple I almost want to start hitting some stones while mowing just to use it again!! Okay, that may be an exaggeration, but this thing is worth every penny ! And I might add, I'm glad I bought this from the company that invented it instead of the cheap China knockoff. Great quality and worth every penny !!

My lawn loves me now!
Using a paddle grinding pad, you can obtain a razor sharp edge, mirror finish, with a perfect cutting angle using this jig. I bought a set of the new Oregon oversize mulching heads that are "self sharpening," you can sharpen all of the flat section of the cutting blade with this jig. Keeping the blades honed sharp cuts down on my mowing time, improves the mulch, saves gas and wear/tare on the mower, and the lawn looks perfect. If you already have an angle grinder (mine is a Dewalt, my Milwalkee is too short) this is a reasonably priced tool.

Not compatible with all angel grinders, cheap ones seems to fit
Just be aware that the space for grinder between angel table will not fit all 4inch grinders. Bought new porter cable and nice grinder but to thick at grinding wheel to have room to spin. Hits 30 degree resting plate for blade . However harbor freight grinder fits with room to spare or adj to best grind possible. Have yet to run blades thru product but will update if needed once used . Sharpening 3 blades each time for zero turn mower.

Very sharp blades
Needs a height adjust for different grinders , but once you get it dialed in, works awesome
