Universal for LG Smart TV Remote Control Replacement with Battery

It works okay. I did run into a strange problem. The + terminals are small enough that I am unable to use, say, duracell batteries and must use Energizer batteries. It's because the positive end on duracell AAA batteries is just enough bigger that it won't fit through the opening in the plastic to reach the contact. I have more than one of these, and two came with batteries, which did work.

I purchased this replacement remote because the original remote for my Chromecast with Google TV had started having issues after a few years of use. Setup was quick and easy, and I had it paired and working within a few minutes. The buttons are responsive, the size is very similar to the original remote, and it feels comfortable to hold. I was a little skeptical about buying a replacement remote, but this one exceeded my expectations. It worked with my VIZIO soundbar right out of the package, and all of the buttons respond quickly. The layout looks almost identical to the original remote, which makes it super easy to use. If you've lost or broken your original VIZIO soundbar remote, this is an excellent replacement. Looks and functions exactly the same as my original LG TV remote. It just arrived today, I removed it from the packaging, install the batteries and it immediately connected to my TV and started pairing on its own. I didn't have to do a damn thing. The waving arrow function works great and so does the rolling wheel. Excellent!

Immediately works, no complex setting up, very good. Has lots of options which is better than the remote that came with the TV. Original remote, the selection button broke. This selection button is fine. However, I wanted the Closed Caption button, which I use a lot, but it doesn't work on this remote...useless. Another annoyance, although the buttons light up, they are off at first so you can't see any of the buttons until you press one. It should light up when you pick it up, or have a over-size obvious "on" button. Feels somewhat flimsy, like most remotes. Buttons are small so sometimes you hit the wrong one. Should have a feel-it bump, like keyboards, to orient where the select button is located, even when not lit up. Works OK but could be better.

Item was great, it worked right off the bat with my LG OLED B- series.tv 2026. It feels just like the OEM remote, but lighter, and all of the buttons are clicky AND BACKLIT, which is a plus. 10/10

These remotes work well, however it’s extremely hard to get the back off to put the batteries in. I’ve had to buy about 7 of them because my pooch loves to chew them up! I have no idea why! I’ve found another option that comes in a two pack and they’re less expensive, so I’ll be buying them from no on.

Everything just works perfectly. It puts the LG remote for my LGC1 Oled tv to shame. Bravo to the creator of this device, it is a winner.

Parfait, s'adapte bien à ma télé, mes fonction des touche option fonctionne bien. (Pilote même mon Apple tv donc besoin que d une télécommande pour piloter l ensemble 👍)
