Ever After High: The Storybox of Legends Hardcover – January 1, 2014

Compared to the series, the books do an even better job of presenting Apple as a complex character. It was most likely difficult to fit BOTH Raven and Apples perspectives into short 3 minute episodes (esp since Raven is the main focus). The tv specials would often reset some of Apple’s development so I can see why many people would view Apple to only be selfish and fall into the typical mean yet popular girl trope. I’m grateful the books fill in those gaps by exploring her insecurities and providing reasoning behind her motives (Canon or otherwise).I’ve always liked her but she’s recently become a favorite of mine.As for the actual physical books: they arrived in excellent condition with zero damage!

These books were great! (The only down side is that they arrived with a strange smell) other than that I loved them!

I got it for a five year old, who just loves fairytales and princesses. This is actually more Young adult or older oriented. The "mom" appreciated the gift, but will put on the shelf till they are older, as is more JR High level of writing,or High school. The writer, is an acclaimed writer of her own fiction. Basically it posits a universe where the main fairy tale characters have kids and they have to find their own destiny. Decent. Not for really little kids.

My seven year old loves the books. They were the best value for the product. Shipping timing was awesome! These books are great and keeps my daughter, with ADHD minus the meds, completely enthralled with this series. I need to purchase more!!

My granddaughter loved it. She is 7 and can't stop reading. I'm going to buy it for my other granddaughter.

I found it interesting learning more about these character I grew to love in the web series and netflix. The first chapter is mostly the same. Legacy day plays out practically the same, but everything else is somewhat a lot different. Books leave me wondering about a lot of questions of their world, so if ished the author were to expand on that in the books. Overall though, these books are a nice some what incconent read to help pass the time.

These were a hit with the recipient of the gift. Great for a fan of the Ever After products who likes to read.
