I’ve been using the Action Pro Improved Tough J-Hook Quick Release Buckle Mount to attach my GoPro 10 to my helmet, paired with the BlueArmour chin mount. Overall, it has been functional but with a few notable drawbacks. Pros: Solid Performance: The mount holds my GoPro securely, ensuring stable footage during my activities. It does its job effectively. Affordable Price: Given the price, the mount provides good value for money. It’s a budget-friendly option that delivers decent performance. Cons: Cheap Plastic Feel: The plastic construction feels a bit flimsy and not as durable as some higher-end mounts. While it functions well, the material quality is not the best. Missing Thumb Screw/Knob: A major drawback is that the J-hooks do not come with a thumb screw or thumb knob. Since J-hooks are unusable without a thumb knob, this omission is significant and means you'll need to purchase the thumb screw separately. Overall: The Action Pro J-Hook Quick Release Buckle Mount works adequately for mounting a GoPro but falls short due to the cheap-feeling plastic and the missing thumb screw. It’s a good choice if you’re looking for an affordable solution, but be prepared to buy the additional thumb screw for full functionality.
