Alright, the real question. How does it compare to evaporust? And do you really get 16 gallons out of a 1 gallon container?

Both are chelant technologies, water dazed, non hazardous, etc. our active ingredients are different and able to be concentrated. Yes it can make 16-gallons per concentrated gallon. Mix at 8-oz concentrate to 1-gallon of water and will remove same or more rust as any other. We are the original manufactures of this technology, may other companies buy our solutions. Dilute them and rebrand them as premixed rust removers. That’s why our concentrates are so inexpensive. I hope this helps

can this be applied to remove the rust on a vehicle's frame or is there another product?

I do not know for sure if it can be applied on large parts. The directions says to "immerse" the part. I used it to clean the internal (water jacket) part of a Model A engine. I never did try it by applying to a part and letting the part set. It does take some time so you would have to keep the part wet all the time (probably at least a few hours) for it to work. For frame cleaning I used the POR-15 40701 Rust Remover. It worked pretty well on lightly rusted metal.

Does Slight oil & grease effect it?

Cleaning the item down to rust only would likely get you the best results for removing the rust. As for your question, I do not know how much of the effectiveness would be reduced if the item is oily or greasy - I am guessing it would be reduced by the degree of oil and/or grease present.

It can be sprayed but would not be effective, Parts need to be submerged for 1 to 2 days maybe more depending on the amount of rust.
