Controversial Build Delivers
The controversy surrounding this knife ~ a very close variation of one of the Vox/Anso GiantMouse designs ~ has taken the knife community by the throat. Whether Factor Equipment's Iconic folding knife is a copy of that well-known design is up to the beholder. But it is undeniably very, very close. This version is a tad larger, has S35VN instead of M390 blade steel and a few other minor differences, and frankly is a reasonable substitute for the more expensive GiantMouse. The question is does that make it justified: Should the knife consumer be pleased they can acquire a knife that is an ideal size for daily carry, one that is well made with perfectly fine materials and reliable performance, even though it's considered a "clone"? I don't know the answer, and Factor Equipment has discontinued this puppy presumably due to the uproar. But I do know this is a quality knife for under $100 and a good alternative to the GM, and there's nothing wrong with a consumer on a budget owning it even if lifting the design was unethical.

It was almost perfect...
I really wanted this knife, but it came with dried blood or some sort of dried red liquid. It cause the flipping action to be grainy and gritty. I returned it and ordered it again and got the same issue. But besides that, this knife is really nice, but I won't be ordering again. I ordered the larger factor knife with m390 and it came out perfectly. Actually, I liked the larger one better anyways!!! Buyer beware, really awesome knife it didn't have that dried reddish material on it!

perfect size
This knife is a very nice size. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because the pocket clip is very pointy. The rest of the knife is great!
