Q: Will it work if the outlet is hidden behind a couch?

Yes. Mine is installed behind and to the immediate right of a queen foam mattress. That is way denser than most couches.

Q: I would rather sleep with wifi and extender off and 2 remotes would be perfect but can it work? Not getting up to turn them off would be a dream.

I use my BN-LINK every night when I leave my favorite chair to go to bed. I have two lamps connected to the article, touch two off buttons and am off to bed. Also, use one in my living room for an artificial tree that is used at Christmas along with a lamp that also goes off on my way to bed. This is so much easier than going around turning off each light. Love it!

Operation frequency is 433.92 MHZ.

Q: I have switched outlets. If I dim the lights then turn off and back on the power, does the module remember the brightness setting?

I think it should remember because my lamp has two settings and when i turn it back on it does in the last setting i had it to.
