Is there a remote replacement one can buy? Our dog chewed our remote and we can’t use all the product’s features without the remote.

Does the fan stay on between heating cycles?

No, but you can set it to work as just a fan, without the heating on. When you turn off the heater, the fan blows for 30 seconds, with a countdown on the LED display, and then turns off.

I didn't measure, but a pretty good estimation is 6 feet, which is good for an appliance. It also oscillates, and throws heat fairly far across a room.
