Good motor and controller
Well built on motor/controller. I was having issue but it was my fault. I have figured it out and everything is working correctly. But if you need any support. There is no phone number to call. Contact Kunray via Amazon messaging only and is useless. 6/28/2020 . Top out 41mph on a go kart. Love the sound of this motor. Total weight is about 300bls with driver. PS. A note for those people complaints about the motor/controller. The motor in default is only run on Medium speed @ 80% power. In order to run the motor at 100% full power. You will need to have a speed controller install ( cost $10 on ebay) 1= low @60% power 2= Medium 80% power 3= high 100% power. The motor in default is a soft start controller. To get hard start, you must connect the 2 whites wires together to activate hard start. As of 8/20/21 the kit is still running strong running on maximum voltage of 57 -58 volts battery from the 48v battery source. Most 48v battery fully charged is 54 volts.

Great product I have 2 and they work great

Holy controller size!
The controller was too massive, but the throttle and motor seemed good quality.

No junction box included phase connection. update to 5 stars regardless
Have not used yet . Instructions has phase connector and junction box. Instructional Video also has junction box (5) also. Nothing was included so I had to order from elsewhere cost me another 10 bucks. Update: for those of u whole need to reverse the motor rotation its not bad From the esc hall connector : Splice and connect blue to yellow and yellow to blue. These are 18 gauge thin wires. Picture included From the motor big azz cables yellow to yellow, blue to green Final Update: The phase wires were REALLY hot but this was my own fault as I connected with nut and bolkt. make sure to have a very good connection or you will have resistance =HEAT. At the end I spliced them together with a wire nut which removed the issue. I was worried that the phase wires from the motor were much larger gauge but turned out to be User Error . Motor: I hooked this up on a monster motoE1000 with a 48v 20 AH LifeP04 Battery ( This thing absolutely rips! Im 6ft 235 and I top out around 28 MPH on grass. I rode this next to a Juiced Bike with MPH gauge against my son (125 lb) and we were neck and neck. So far so good, no heat issues, battery is till running strong, seems solid so far. enjoy!

Horrendous throttle response
Installed onto stock mx650 for some reason got the HUGE Controller that’s was difficult mounting. After shaving the motor screws and mount it fit nice got everything working and went for a ride and my only real complaint is throttle response. Came back home and found the 2 wires that had to be connected to help but The response is still horrendous if you go to full throttle the curve is so consistently poor solid 1 second delay before “full throttle” so wheelies are impossible

Razor EcoSmart Metro Scooter
I bought a razor ecosmart metro scooter and upgraded it to 48 volts getting it up to 21mph but over 400 miles I burned out the original motor due to my weight and the extra voltage. So I bought this motor and controller kit for it. I had to drill new holes to mount the motor and install an extra box to house the controller and one of the four 15 Amp hour batteries I bought. You also had to reverse the rotation of the motor by swapping the thick blue and green wires and swapping the tiny blue and yellow wires going to the motor cable. After all that it goes about 16 mph in low, 23mph in medium and 32 mph in high speed. The whole system works great and I'm very glad I purchased it and would recommend it to anyone looking to get extra speed and power out of their scooter.

Got this in the mail this week was all hyped up.
Put the kit all together got it working lots of power / torque with no load. Then installed it on the bike took it for a test run the motor would not work under load. The motor just gave out a high-pitched squeal and that was it nothing. Now the motor is stuck will not turn. What a waste of $500 and a 3 week waiting period to receive the item.

Pretty good
I put it on a minibike but the chain was on the wrong side for the motor. For a low priced kit it was pretty good all tho there are no way to know how to make the motor turn the other way without having to test every way possible because i was inexperienced and thats how i blew it up very easy to make it go in reverse by playing with the phases but trying to go full power in reverse thats what got me to end its life short
