Why do you use smaller capacity batteries in the green laser that only give the green laser 2 hours, unlike the red that is good for 4 hours?

You don't keep the laser on all day. Only when you activate it. My batteries last 2-3 years.

This grip is plastic instead of rubber, correct? If so how does it feel shooting in comparison to the stock hogue?

The body of the grip is polymer, but there are rubber panels front and back. It handles recoil as well as the stock grip and fits my hand better. Your hand may vary, of course.
