Genuine Dyson DC24 Cleaner Head Assembly

After entering the make and model of my Dysan vacuum into the Amazon search box, I Found the exact replacement part within seconds on the first page that came up! WOW! Fast delivery next day service from Amazon. The complex motorized brush head was a complete assembly as-is with no extra parts required. The pictorial-only instructions were fairly easy to follow with a one-step instruction for quick removal of the old brush head and a two-step instruction for a quick install of the new brush head. Took about one minute for the total process and the vacuum was ready for use! WOW again! My vacuum had been screaming so loudly over the past two years I and my wife had to wear ear protectors which we never had to before all the previous years. When I installed the new brush head and tested the vacuum it was astonishingly super quiet and back to no more ear protectors! The bearings on the old brush head motor were apparently worn out without our realizing it! Great experience overall quickly locating the part on Amazon and one day delivery of a top-quality original-replacement Dysan part that installed quickly and worked as expected!

It is a genuine Dyson product, it fit right on my Dyson DC24 and I didn't have to replace my beloved vacuum of 13 years. It was so easy. I’m really happy I searched on Amazon for the motor bc I didn’t know I could just replace the whole brush motor head piece. 10/10

Saved me from buying a new vacuum cleaner. DC24 brush stopped spinning even after removing excess hair. Assumed the motor died, so I replace the head which included a new motor. Very easy to replace.

After about 7 years of frequent use, something cracked in the cleaner head assembly of our DC24. I was hoping to fix the specific cracked pieces, but it didn't seem possible the way the head assembly was designed. I was a little skeptical about buy a whole new cleaner head assembly given the price, but I gave it a shot. It was really easy to install and actually much better designed than the original cleaner head assembly. The vacuum is even quieter than when it was new. So it's an expensive part to replace, but cheaper than getting a whole new Dyson vacuum.

My old DC 24 stopped working. The motor ran, but I could see that the brush head was not spinning, causing a drag on the roll, and not a deep clean. Pushing the red re-set button did not work. After a lot of research, I learned that the head has its own motor and can die on its own. I went out to several stores but could not find anything I liked as much, incl new Dysons which are too large for my closet space. Lucked out in research to learn that I could still buy a new Head Assembly for this old DC 24! Pricey but SO worth it, and much less than a new machine. Simple installation even for this old lady, and works perfectly once again. Old off, new on. Note: There is no re-set button on the new assembly, but I understand it re-sets itself after every turn-off...
