I've been using this enclosure for travel for about a year now, and it's been great. I had upgraded my PC with a bigger drive, and was looking for something to do with the now spare 1TB nvme. I ended up picking this enclosure, and I'm glad I did. It's extremely thoughtfully designed. - Attractive and minimal, slim design. Has a nice textured finish to it. The all-metal body is solid and should help with heat dissipation. - Built-in storage for its USB cable. That is huge compared to most portable SSD's; no more losing short usb-c's or trying to find them in your bag. There's even a little window on the other side to make it easy to push the cable out with your finger. - The 100W PD passthrough is another feature you don't really see all that much. Makes it easy to keep your laptop charged up while working from the drive. And it's located directly on the other side from the main data port, so it's not awkward to plug in both data and power. - Consistently fast transfer speed. I had to get video from one of my content producers for an event, and it was several gigs in size. It pulled the file in just a few seconds, and he was like "What IS that thing??". And he's used to working with large files and transferring them with "higher-end" portable SSD's on the daily. So yeah, this thing is a great choice for upcycling an old NVME, or if you want to build a portable SSD that works better than the slower memory most off-the-shelf portable SSD's have. 5 stars.

Really neat to find one of the slimmest SSD Enclosure for m.2 nvme.. works well when placing it in a pouch 3m pad on the front of the laptop for additional storage. This comes with its own small, neat leather pouch (grey) to slide this in which is nice. I would say in the inside, it nice and they give you blue thermal pads to place on your nvme (two but you might need a scissor to cut). Also Pro-tip: There is two ports on either side, use your data USB-C cable on the port where the two screws are (not the power symbol) or else, the enclosure does not get detected

worked less than 10 times and now, the enclosure is not correctly recognized by any computer. I have tried it on 2 different PCs and 2 different Mac. Mac doesn't even recognize it at all. PC sees it for 2 seconds and the drive disappears. Took the drive out of the case and the drive itself works fine inside a computer.

Very nice. Thin enclosure but just like the other ones I've ordered. The cord holds it back massively. The cord is garbage and only lets you do 40 MB a second. I switched over to my bone cord and was able to do 940 MB a second. So if you're having trouble with transfer speeds use a different cord

I love the form factor and the aluminum enclosure. I get 500 MB/s transfer rate pretty solid. I also have zero thermal issues .. some people have mentioned that it gets hot. It does great with the 1TB drive that came with my Zephyrus G14 5070ti. I removed that drive and replaced it with a 4TB drive. However, the tape that came with mine is 3M 9448A which is NOT thermal tape. My drive came with a little heat sink cover, and I absolutely would not insulate it with double sided non-thermal tape.

Excellent solution to an external NVMe drive. Color matches my HP Elitebook. Magnet is strong and holds the unit firm.

This housing is nice for the pass through charging. And it does work. The design is clever with the usb c cord tucked away within the aluminum housing too. But that’s it. The material of this piece to me feels cheap. It would have been nice if it was a mm thicker and has a nice magnet built in to stick to your phone. Though that’s fairly easy to remedy. I think if this housing felt more premium I’d give it 5 stars. But I’m a wretch for detail and quality.

This M.2 enclosure is of high quality, very easy to set up, strong and robust, thin and portable, even with a built-in cable, and offers respectable read and write speeds. It's compatible with my phone, laptop, and MacBook, making it an excellent value for money.
