Besides the normal popsocket function it also folds down as the picture show which make it perfect for propping up your phone in portrait mode. Magnet is strong and won't let go even if you're holding your phone upside down and shaking it moderately. I'm sure it would come a part of you shook it violently but it holds more than securely for normal use.

Bought this as a gift, and I was able to observe it as I set it up for the person I got this for. I have to say that I may end up getting it for myself. This feels exactly the same as a traditional popsocket, and the advantage of this popsocket is that you can take it off the magnet and easily charge it on a wireless charging pad or magsafe. If you have multiple covers, you can also easily transition and stick it to that (you would need the magnet for it to stick to however). The quality seems sound and as durable as the original popsocket. I like to spin my phone with my current popsocket, if I get this, I may do it a little bit less, but it seemed pretty sturdy. The whole purpose of a popsocket for me is so that it is easier to hold my phone, and that is what this does.

I’ve had PopSockets for years on my phones and love using them. I recently upgraded to an iPhone 17 pro and wanted another PopSocket being they are easy to use. I was so happy that I found this one! I didn’t want to have it be stuck to my phone like they previously had been. This one allows me to keep it on when I want and take it off when I need it off. The magnet is super strong and I feel secure using it. I was nervous that my phone would fall and it wouldn’t feel safe but those worries are gone. I also really like that it has the ability to be a kickstand and hold my phone up. I’ve used it when I’m baking and following a new recipe. It is more expensive than other ring holders but it’s exactly what I wanted. Feels secure on the phone while allowing me to hold on to it better while taking photos and being more comfortable while just playing on it or typing out this review ;) Thank you PopSocket for keeping up with the new phones!

Best pop socket yet, in terms of features. I love being able to kickstand this pop socket & my phone so that I may more easily see the screen in the portrait orientation. With the older style pop sockets, I was only able to put my phone upright in the landscape orientation. The only negative that I have found is that the magnet strength seems somewhat weaker in terms of how securely the pop socket attracts to the MagSafe phone case (iPhone 16 pro). I have found this not to be as significant of an issue if I use the adhesive magnet that comes with this product (intended to be used with phones that are not MagSafe compatible). This prevents the pop socket from separating from the phone and my phone from falling, which had been an issue when I first tried to pop socket directly online MagSafe case.

Arrived chipped and scratched. There is no kickstand function at all. Magnet is also pretty weak. For 40 whole dollars, this is an absolute waste.

Love love love. This relieves so much pressure from my pinkie and I love that it allows me to prop my phone up when needed. Plus it’s cute and I can change out the top with my other pop socket tops.

I got this PopSocket MagSafe kick-out grip because I really wanted to be able to MagSafe charge my phone and still have a PopSocket to hold onto. I was honestly surprised by how well this works. I’ve used the O-Snap grip from another brand before and while it’s super thin and also MagSafe compatible, it’s just not as comfortable to hold. This one actually feels like a real PopSocket, way more comfortable and easier to grip. It feels really sturdy and secure, and I use it every single day. The only small downside is that when my phone is MagSafe charging and I pull my phone off, the PopSocket will sometimes stay stuck to the charger and I have to manually take it off. Not a deal breaker, just something to note. Other than that, I really like it and would definitely recommend it if you want MagSafe charging without giving up a PopSocket.

Be mindful of using this with certain phone cases!!!! The raised camera 'guard/lip' area may interfere with the open/close hinge feature. Design is a gorgeous greyish purple color with a soft feeling. The ease of use can be both a BIT annoying and very handy...the hinge comes undone with light touch so it can be frustrating when it randomly pops open. The feature to stand up the phone with it however works nicely! Build quality seems nice but like I said...that hinge! It makes a SNAP sound when it closes so it does make some noise! Scratch resistance is great on this one...none that I can see so far. Thickness is smaller than others...very sleek. Value is nice but I wish it was a little bit cheaper due to the hinge. Overall I like this popsocket just with the hinge was a bit stronger and maybe the diameter was a wee smaller to fit better with different cases.

Perfecto pero caro. Era justo lo que me faltaba al popsocket, pero sí es cierto que partía ya de un precio elevado. Para mí ha valido la pena pero es cierto que seguramente no lo hará para todo el mundo. Si estás acostumbrado/a al popsocket y lo único que te falta es poder usarlo en vertical, esto es para tí.

Brilliant accessory. I’ve had it for a week and it’s been in use umpteen times a day everyday. REALLY VERSATILE. VERY USEFUL. FINELY ENGINEERED. I love it! I’ve never had any such thing before and now I wouldn’t be without it. I’ve got the ‘Kick-Out’ version and IMHO it’s DEFINITELY WORTH THE EXTRA COST. I had some doubts when I ordered it as I wasn’t sure the additional functionality of the Kick-Out version would prove worthwhile. IT ABSOLUTELY IS. I initially had in mind using the Popsockets grip as a stand on coach journeys with the choir. I was ever so pleased to find that I could use it when video recording the performance. I got some great footage (steady and stable with no discomfort in prolonged shots). Honestly there’s been loads of times when it’s been invaluable. Today in a waiting room myself and my son were watching telly (subtitled). No wrist or hand ache whilst the hand was unobtrusive. I am very impressed with how well thought out and well made this gadget is. It’s small but it packs a lot in! I’ve no idea how they get the hinge to have JUST THE RIGHT RESISTANCE in different positions. So far it’s showing NO SIGN OF GOING SLOPPY.

Vraiment très bon support sur un iPhone 17 Pro Max. J’avais essayé un autre grip (celui de Rhinoshield qui s’est cassé au bout de deux semaines) et celui-là est de loin le meilleur. Très confortable et solide.

The magnetic is super strong. You need decent force to remove it. Super good. Recommended
