OXO 73281 Scraper & Chopper

パン生地をこねたり伸ばしたりするのに使ってみましたが、 ハンドル部分が丁度手にピタッと収まる形で、 非常に握りやすく、その分、扱い易いなと思いました。 造りもしっかりしていて丈夫そうですし、 刃(と言うほど鋭利ではありませんが)の部分にメモリが 振ってあるのが気が利いてて地味に便利だと思いました。

商品ページの説明が印刷された紙が同梱されています。 OXOらしい黒いラバーのデザインはとてもシンプルかつ持ちやすくて使いやすいです。 刃はするどく立ってはいませんが、しっかりカットできます。 大人用に切ったフルーツを子供用にさらに小さくカットする時などにもとても便利です。 食材に触れるものなので食洗機対応はとても良いと思います。

道具として使いやすいです。 それは大きさです。 軽い力でも力が入りやすいのが気に入っています。 シンプルな道具は形がすべてですね。

いつもパン生地を切り分けるとき包丁でしてたんだけど、これはスパッと気持ちよく分けれて楽しい。包丁より全然いいです。 だだ、結構刃先が鋭いし包丁入れにさせないし、どこに収納しようかなー

約15.5cm幅、刃の高さも約10cmあり、大きめ。 柄のない菜切り包丁のよう。プロユース品？ お子様と一緒にクッキーの生地作り、などには適さない。 グリップ部は丸みが大きく取ってある。 しっかり握れて、力を入れやすい造り。 大判なので刻み葱などをまな板から移すのにも便利。 紙にあてて滑らせてスパッといく程の切れ味ではないが、 具入りのパン生地などは楽々。 たとえば、麦の穂状に切れ目を入れて展開するベーコンエピ。 刃の先端には目盛があって、数字が1、2、3、4、5。 センチではなく「インチ」だが、1インチ＝約2.5cmを4分割。 刃を入れる長さを合わせやすく、仕上がりが整う。

日本のものにくらべると、かなり大きいです。 一度にパンをいっぱい作る人でないともてあましそうです。 ただ、グリップがしっかりしていて持ちやすく、 大きさの割にはとても使いやすいです。 大きなパン生地もさくさく分けられるので、 いっぱいパンを作る人にはとても便利だと思います。

メッツァルーナなどのナイフとしては切れないですが、パン生地などを切る道具として使えます。片方には手で持つグリップがあるので他のチョッパーより手が痛くならないので嬉しいです。但し、かなり大きいので一般家庭サイズより業務用に近いとも思いました。パンを時々焼くので嬉しいです。スクレーパーとしては今まで使ってきたシリコン製の方が気に入ってます。

This scraper and chopper does exactly what you want it to. It’s solid and feels like good quality — the blade is sharp and sturdy, and the handle is comfortable to hold. I’ve used it for chopping veggies, scraping dough, and even lifting cookies off the tray. It’s simple but really versatile, and cleaning is easy since it goes straight in the dishwasher. Definitely useful to have in the kitchen and a good price for what you get. Would recommend to anyone who cooks regularly.

Good quality, easy to use but the blade is very blunt. I would prefer a sharper blade to cut into doughs, however it is excellent in collecting veggies from cutting board or counter top.

If you’ve used OXO products before, then it is almost guaranteed, that you too, are slowly (or quickly) switching out all of your miscellaneous kitchen utensils for OXO ones. Without fail, their products deliver a sturdy hand feel and high quality workmanship. And they’re built to last. I have quite the collection of OXO storage containers, whisks, ladles and gadgets— and they are consistently the first ones I reach for. This chopper is no exception. I bought this one specifically because I was having trouble slicing my Chrissy Teigen armadillo bread after the bottom crust hardens during baking. None of my knives were thick enough to push through the bread but also allow me to push from the top, and the pizza cutter made a mess. This thing has been fabulous! I also use it when making buttermilk biscuits, to separate the dough and layer it a dozen times. Also great for quickly cleaning off a cutting board. The edge is sharp, but not knife sharp. Nor would I want it to be. It’s just sharp enough to make slicing easy for awkwardly large items. Handle has a rubberized coating, which is useful when cutting buttery yummies.

Solid, well constructed and finished, comfortable handle. Should be a good kitchen tool with a long service life.
